Elementary! It's a modern version of Sherlock Holmes set in New York and three of the first four episodes have been great (the third was irritatingly generic serial killer plot, ug. Hopefully there won't be more of those)

Crust! We ordered from them last night, I got Peking duck with Hoisin sauce and vegetables (and no cheese or chili) and it was GREAT. Probably the best cheese free pizza I have ever had. The gluten free and vegetarian options are apparently great too. Unfortunately they couldn't tell me the ingredients of their meat marinades, so peking duck is probably the only one I'll be brave enough to try, but I can live with that.

Kaleidoscope! There was an issue with AO3 and it went unanon but just in case that gets fixed, I shall keep my super secret writers super secret identities a secret :)

Anyway: I got two fics and they're both great! The writers gave me exactly what I asked for.

I'm quite proud of this, the image has been sitting in my brain for about a month while I waited until I felt up to doing it justice.

Plus I drew a picture of Shin from Gokusen which I think turned out pretty well but isn't very interesting.

EDIT: One of the Runaways covers I thought was really pretty, I was actually thinking "This is so pretty, I wish I could favourite on DA or something just to celebrate it's prettiness" and then it turned out that it IS on DA, huzzah! Anyway, as you can see, the art for this run was lovely, very inspiring.

I was noodling around OneManga today looking for references for the Skip Beat fanart I posted earlier and suddenly thought "Hey, I should add Gokusen to my bookmarks to look it up to see when it's finished being scanlated"...and it IS finished. Woo!

For those who haven't read/seen it: Gokusen is a manga (with spinoff anime and live action tv show. I liked the former, haven't really seen the latter) about a kickass female yakuza maths teacher. So, obviously, I love it :)
