We have FINALLY finished Buffy Season 3, and are starting Avatar the last Airbender, so it seemed like a good time to remind people about my fortnightly tv nights.

What: Watch the first few episodes of Avatar the Last Airbender, unless a bunch of regulars don't show in which case we may watch Daria instead.

I already did a friends-locked post and had a total of one request so people I don't know are free to ask.

So, next wednesday we're skipping Firefly for a session. I was thinking Singstar since I haven't had a chance to try it out as a party thing (Cam refuses to play it with me)

I was planning on taking a lot of these to Femmeconne, but I'm pretty sure I'm not going to make it at this stage.

So, we have:
-a bag of men's clothing, sizes 3XL to 5XL
-a bag and box of conventional women's clothing, sizes 10-14
-a bag of costumey/gothy etc womens clothing sizes 10-14 (mostly 12)
eg this outfit, a size 12 burgundy version of this dress, various tops

The first two will be taken to an Op shop very soon unless anyone is willing to take them off our hands. The last bag I may keep until a geeky clothes swap since I think fellow geeks would get more out of it, but I'm willing to give it to anyone who wants it or wants to poke through.

So, anyone want to come over and have a look? I'm always open to company, even if you don't think you'll find anything.

Warning: the cat fell asleep on top of the women's clothes, there's a bit of cat hair in there!

Cam is going away to a work thing (in Queensland!) from the 6th to the 13th of September, which is coming up pretty soon.

So I will be all by my lonesome and stuck at home BORED. Thus if any of you were thinking of visiting me "at some point" this would be a good week to do so. (My address)

Any takers? I'm also up for going out for lunch/dinner once or twice in this period, as long as I get driven there and it's something I can eat eg steak or Korean/Japanese/Chinese/Vietnamese (most other cuisines contain things I can't eat)

Who: Anyone who knows and likes me well enough to hang out for a few hours and would get some enjoyment out of watching Buffy.
What to bring: Any snack food you wish to eat, and if neccesary your own dinner. I will provide nothing but chairs and a tv(*) :P Maybe some carrot sticks and rice thins too.

My health issues mean I will probably kick people out quite sharply not long after the last episode so I can sleep. Please do not take this personally :)

(*)I'm fine with people having a mass pizza order or something, but since I have such wierd food issues will leave that to you guys to figure out for yourselves. I'll have some menus for local places to hand.

So, I'm stuck at home all day not able to do much. I've been feeling a bit down about this recently, and have decided a plausible reason is that I don't get much of a chance to chat to people. But I'm not up to big organised socialising, just low key quietness.

So, anyone who is free of a weekday (pretty much any weekday(*), but I do mean the day, night is for sleeping) want to come visit me in Bayswater?(**) I'd need at least a days notice (or you can ring up on the day and have a small but nonzero chance I'll be busy :)) since I do very occasionally go out.

Since the aim is to NOT make this stressful I won't be able to guarantee a clean house and probably won't have any snacks. Short visits on the way to somewhere else etc entirely welcome.

*waves understandably to friends who are too sick/far away etc to visit but also bored*
