Having fun in animal crossing!
Jul. 13th, 2020 10:39 pmI wasn't feeling super enthused about doing up my island until I got Inspired by three specific visions:
1) a botanical garden full of fossils/bug statues etc and every type of plant
2) a spooky forest
3) a valley of waterfalls
They're all still WIPs but today I did the terraforming for the waterfall valley, now all I need to do is add flowers/trees and decide what to do at the back of it. Photos below the cut, as well as links to various cool Animal Crossing stuff I've found around the place.

flamebyrd gave me a moustache, which made me want to investigate dresses. After some investigation on pinterest I came up with this quasi-Edwardian design which I am very happy with.I was wondering how I'd balance my competing desires to make everything goth, and to make everything rainbow, and then remembered the younger generation solved this age-old dilemma by inventing pastel goth.
Also, my villagers apparently ship me and
moonvoice :D

stephiepenguin posted a link to a patern for Drunken argyle, which I thought was a cool idea but didn't like the execution. So I quickly photoshopped what I think would look better:
Obviously in real life you'd get visible stitches which would mess up the lines a bit, but I still think it would look ok.
