Hooray for remixrevival, where people make fanworks based on other people's fanworks. None of these have any content warnings.

I inspired two great remixes this year, both based on Steven Universe fanart:

THIS IS SO PRETTY plus I love the implied story around it. The style looks kinda familiar but there's no set reveal date for the treat collection this was posted to, so I may never know who drew it. Thanks, whoever you are, mysterious artist!
