Wiscon is done!!

It ended very sharply since they made the discord read-only at local midnight (my lunch time, a few hours ago) I've joined a few related discords, though, and had a bunch of new people follow me who I am slowly checking out one by one (if I do this too quickly I just go UGH TOO HARD and never subscribe to anyone).
Anyway, the con was a lot of fun! *waves to everyone I saw there, and also anyone I didn't* I have one more panel to write up and then I'll do a panels post, but in the meantime here's some links I had opened in tabs and stuff.
Did you know paid dreamwidth users can block tags? I did not! If any of you want to escape the occasional deluge of dating sim reactions here you'll want to block "reactions" (for all reactions posts) or "samurai love ballad party" (for just the game I currently write the most about)

Metis in Space A podcast where Metis women from Canada cheerfully discuss media with Indigenous content. I listened to their episode about the Australian Indigenous scifi show Cleverman and it was really fun and interesting, I'll definitely be listening to more.
The Art of Gathering Remotely Haven't read this yet but it looks interesting.
Wiscon thoughts by branewane She makes some good points about the practical issues with Wiscon trying to replicate this year's online experience simultaneously with an in-person version. I do hope some part of it gets repeated in future, but can see the argument for separate spin-off events and/or very limited online parts etc being the way to go. I guess I'll see what happens!
Crip Camp: The Official Virtual Experience Every Sunday at 2 pm PST/5 pm EST from May 17th to August 30th for one and a half hours each, on Zoom (which I am personally not comfortable using due to security issues, but here's the info anyway)
