Currently reading "Candy Girl: A year in the life of an unlikely stripper", the autobiography of Diablo Cody, author of "Juno". It's enjoyable enough, though she's relying a bit on the reader being all "OMG stripping, how wierd!!" and the novelty of Real People Like I Might Know doing stripping wore off for me a while ago...(n.b. the title of this post is the start of the first line)

And just to show there's really no theme, a restaurant:

I and Cam drove out to North Beach for lunch today, the restaurant we had been going to go to was shut down so we chose the next most likely looking place, "The Wild Fig". It was quite nice, they actually had a milky smoothie which was free of dairy and soy (almond, dates, ice, and flavoring. A bit over honeyed but nice enough), and did a pretty good job of constructing me a meal I could eat (vegan breakfast + egg) Cakes were all buttery though :(

Well, now I've run out of constructive things to do online I guess I better go do some more cleaning before the rent inspection :(

Tell me more about this vegan breakfast, and of what it consisted. That's totally constructive!

Husband used to play a lot of gigs at The Wild Fig. Friday nights I think, and it was packed.

My parents live down the road from The Wild Fig, the cakes there are rather nice. The Chinese restaurant next door ("The Ocean Dragon" IIRC) is also rather good.
