First: The tumblr post How to Read Manhua on Bilibili: Legal, Free, and in English got me into reading comics on bilibili. And I've enjoyed all but one of the comics I tried through random clicking. But at a certain point you have to wait up to a day or pay money to read the next comic, so I haven't had a chance to finish all of these comics yet.
My Boss’s Special Request: Silly, slight Korean femdom F/m webtoon which plays the typical "earnest secretary is coerced into fake dating asshole boss, slowly realises boss has A Secret Heart and they're both into the boss being dominant" tropes completely straight, but genderswapped. Like The Proposal, but more so. It's pretty funny, and the boss's assholeishness is mostly her being an obliviously asocial weirdo, but either you're into this premise or you're not (I am) I feel like there's some sort of...no-homo adjacent humour, eg around the rival dude being a vain, catty model, but it thus far hasn't felt too mean spirited. They're not together yet in the currently translated comics.
Straight Girl Trap: Completed Chinese f/f webtoon on bilibili about a lesbian trying to figure out if her hot female boss is into her or just an obliviously homoerotic straight girl. This is mostly pretty silly but I got more into the characters than I expected, and under the tropes it felt like a sincere expression of the Chinese lesbian experience. The boss/employee thing is super glossed over, they feel pretty equal though the boss is definitely the top. The last two episodes require the mobile app but it was mostly established relationship fluff by then anyway so I didn't bother. All the kisses are censored with flowers because China.
Idiots Don't Catch Colds: m/m sports-manga-inspired highschool romcom, by an American based in Japan. Classic red oni/blue oni "rivals-for-no good-reason to friends to lovers" dynamic. Cute enough. They aren't together yet but the arc to mutually supportive friendship has been sweet.
The Demon King Wants to be Friends with Me: m/m Chinese webtoon on bilibili about a guy who ends up in a contract to help an annoying demon king find friends. Very silly, but the "secretly lonely tsundere/immortal slowly figuring out what emotions are" dynamic works for me. Also there is random crossdressing. The comic is completed but I haven't finished reading.
Baby Come On: m/m Chinese webtoon on bilibili about a cursed knight grumpily putting up with a vampire wanting to drink his holy blood. They have a moderately cute "tsundere knight/cheerfully shameless 'villain' with secret Angst and Principles" dynamic, with both being immortals who've given up on ever really being happy. The slowly revealed fantasy backstory/conflict is kinda dumb but creates some fun melodrama and shippy moments (though the blood drinking is mostly implied). Thus far it hasn't been super dub-con-ish, the vampire is pushy and obnoxious but ultimately likes the knight too much to cross the line too far, but I can't say for sure where it's going. The comic is completed but I haven't finished reading.
