Misc Animal Crossing screenshots
Jun. 29th, 2020 10:48 amFinally managed to transfer my images (which is a PAIN IN THE ASS requiring a MINI SD CARD of all things) so here's a bunch of screenshots!
As will surprise noone, I adore Blathers, the owl who runs the museum and excitedly tells you cool fact about everything you donate.

At first I didn't have access to much cool clothing so made my own, but the options are pretty limited. Here's my red and black ensemble, as I photobomb a wedding shoot I was paid to take photos at.

You can't actually use the wheelchair, and it's a pretty blah hospital type, but it is kinda cool having one to sit in when I'm posing a photo like this.
Here's my current outfit, achieved with help from
moonvoice and
flamebyrd. Now I want stompy purple boots irl. I need to make a better star pattern for my chair, five-fold symmetry really doesn't work on a square grid. The character is sitting in my main room, which is pretty boring right now, I don't really have a theme or anything.

By compairson this is my second room, which I have turned into an Evil Science Lair, with much help from
moonvoice:

Around the walls: skeleton, red lava lamp, metal shelves with a microscope on top, blue oil drum, pipe organ, desk, world map, red oil drum, bookshelf with large amber blob on top with a bug inside, punching bag, blue lava lamp, tools, generator, floor lights. In the centre is a lightly glowing ice table with test tubes and a bunsen burner, newton's cradle, and a pile of papers. On the floor are a book, more papers, and some candles. There's also a giant praying mantis head on the wall you can't see.
I tried making myself a lab coat but the pixels are too big and the "robe" is pretty clearly a kimono.

One eye is closed up since I'd just been stung by a wasp which I felt was IC for someone doing dangerous experiments.
No photos of my island because it's still pretty boring right now.
Anyway, still having a lot of fun with the game, though having to wait for the actual real life day to change means I don't play as obsessively as something like Stardew Valley where in-game days slip past at an addictive rate.

I only just found that out about wasps! And your comment reminded me to actually use the net :)
