Age poll!

I wasn't planning on reposting this, but looking at the results it was SEVENTY PERCENT people who just follow me on dreamwidth, and I was curious to know if that's a fair representation of the proportion of my readers who engage with my posts, or if reposting would catch a bunch of folk on faster paced sites like tumblr and twitter who missed it the first time.

So if you already did the poll, you're set! And there's even odds you were born in the 1980s ;)

So, of those of us who were not born in the '80s, how many were born after, and how many were born before (aka: "am I the oldest one here?")?

The skew to the 80s is remarkable in part because everyone else tends to be older!

As things currently stand: 50s: 3%, 60s: 8%, 70s: 24%, 80s: 55%, 90s: 10%

And every decade has at least two people, so even the oldest and youngest aren't too alone :)

Teenage me used to take an inexplicable amount of joy in claiming to be an eighties kid despite having been born in 1989.

Ha! Teen me enjoyed describing myself as a 70s kid despite being born right near the end of 1979. And then imperiously describing my friends born at the start of 1980 as tiny adorable 80s children, why they put up with me I do not know.
