Crunchyroll Queue Challenge 5-11
Feb. 7th, 2019 03:36 pmThe list. I added numbers because it'll be more satisfying crossing them off that way :D Managed to cut some stuff this time.
Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san: Episode 4
Satirical shorts about life as a bookshop employee. I like it but it has no plot so keep not getting around to watching it. *keeps*
My Roommate is a Cat: Episode 1
An anti-social novelist takes in a cat after it inspires him for his next book, slice of life shenanigans probably ensue. Inoffensive, but I had already paused like 8 minutes into the 20 minute episode out of boredom and made it to 11 this time before giving up. *drops*
Ace Attorney: Season 2 Episode 3
Murder mystery lawyer shenanigans! I'm consuming this via Press Buttons 'n Talk instead, and in general wasn't really enjoying the anime, even though there's nothing actively wrong with it. *drops*
Nodame Cantabile (Drama): Episode 1
Music student romance. This is here because I want to watch the anime, but Crunchyroll doesn't have it. *keeps but only as a reminder to find some way to watch the anime*
Tsuritama: Episode 5
This is a sweet, slightly surreal show about a boy with anxiety getting drawn into fishing related Shenanigans in a seaside town. I ran out of momentum before in the middle of this episode despite liking the characters and wanting to see how it ends, I think because (a) he is SO anxious to start with and (b) I have bad associations with fishing. But the end of this episode was especially cute and it feels like he's turned a corner into being less painfully anxious. *keeps*
The Ancient Magus' Bride: Episode 17
A traumatised, lonely girl is taken in by a strange, inhuman mage as his apprentice and, theoretically, wife (he doesn't fully understand how marriage works). This is a great show but it can be heartbreaking so I have been watching very slowly. This episode was really nice, though! *keeps*
Gatchaman Crowds: Season 2 Episode 2
People keep saying this is great and it's not bad but I just can't get into it. Superheroes, aliens, the internet, the nature of society and...stuff? None of it really gelled into a coherent whole in my head, it probably doesn't help that Crunchyroll only has Season 2. *drops*
