I've been doing a lot of experimenting with Artrage. I've gotten enough of the hang of it for game background paintovers but I think I need to get more practice with the fundamentals of painting before I can use it for portraits etc.

I've also started work on a new game, a picross/nonogram puzzle visual novel called Nona&Gram.

I really like these: the self portrait is great, the problem with the alpha bear logo made me smile, and the view from Kings park is very cool - I love science fiction versions of familiar cities.

Also very excited to hear about your new game! I'm kinda addicted to pixel puzzles/nonagrams - have been doing them on paper for ages and since I got a smartphone have discovered digital ones, the advantage being you can wipe the slate clean easily if you screw up...

One of the key things that made me decide to make my own game is that all the free online ones didn't tell you when you make a mistake. I hate backtracking enough that making an entire game from scratch is more appealing.

All of these are great! I think my favourites are the jar of hearts (spooky/cute!) and Josephine (love the warm colours, and what a perfect likeness).

Thank you! The perfect likeness I can't take too much credit for since I painted over a screencap, but I did out some effort into warming up the original bland lighting.

The post-apoc Perth is a lovely image, very contrasty and silent. I also like the jar of hearts!
