So!
I sided with the mages, and made them equal partners.
Happy with this choice. Verrry curious to see what happens if I go see the templars, I am assuming lots of angry abominations instead of red templars? Sad either way :(
I killed Hawke.
This was sad, but felt right. SORRY FENRIS. And Bethany and Varric :(
I let the Wardens go on.
They screwed up but they're not just an organistion, they're a group of people with very specific skills who we may need. Look how expelling the wardens worked for Ferelden during the last Blight. And they're hardly the only organisation who got corrupted by Corypheus.
I saved Celene and ended up with her as Empress, Gaspard dead and Brialla exiled. Is there a way to have Briala and Celene work together?
Also, may I say again: MORRIGAN :D :D
I saved Blackwall but said he had to join the wardens after the events of the game.
I never saw him quite the same way again, but think he is trying to be a better person even if he's a bit self...absorbed? Like it ends up being about HIS ANGST and HIS REDEMPTION rather than optimally helping people. As someone I follow on tumblr pointed out he really was very non committal and weird about Warden stuff, I should have picked up his lie earlier, but now it can become truth. And he's who my Inquisitor loved so what can you do.
I let Morrigan drink from the well since I'd been spoiled that Flemeth=Mythal, and generally didn't like the idea of someone with as much power as me being under a geas to anyone. Morrigan could be killed if neccesary (SORRY MORRIGAN) Saved Kieran, idk if that always happens. Did the rituals, which was kind of fun. Glad I brought Solas along.
I made Leliana divine. I'm not sure it was the smartest decision but it was the most satisfying.
Didn't end up corrupted at all. The subtext about the Inquisition going the way of the other corrupted organisations stayed subtext.
So curious about romancing an elven god but possibly not enough to overcome how massively annoying I find Solas haha. Wish he was bi, I think romancing him with a dude would feel less creepy. Unless I decide to go for creepy!
Did he...kill Flemeth at the end there? Or did she go into him? (Which I guess still kills Flemeth, just not Mythal)
Don't feel massively excited about a second playthrough right now but I will do one.
My Keep setup: Commoner dwarf warden. Romanced Alistair, made Anora queen, did the dark ritual. I thought she made Harrowmont king but I now remember someone talking about King Bhelen, hmm! Saved the mages, brokered peace with the werewolves.
Diplomatic rogue Hawke. Sent Bethany to the circle, romanced Fenris, sided with the mages, let Anders live.
What I think would make things interesting as a change: mage warden, romance Leliana or Morrigan, make Alistair and Anora marry, save Loghain. Alistair/Warden/Leliana could also be interesting :D
Mage Hawke who sends Carver to the grey wardens, sides with the templars and romances...Isabela? Or my actual mage Hawke who killed Carver, romanced Fenris (and Isabela in my head, so I could keep that), and sided with the mages but killed Anders.
And then as Inquisitor...hmm. I like the idea of being a female qunari or elf mage, but might get annoyed at the game being all about circle mages and humans. Cam is planning on playing a pro templar Tevinter human warrior next, which could be fun.
