1) What sort of food processor type thing is best for saving spoons on chopping veggies?

2) A local carpenter/kitchen renovator who would be able to change our cupboards to allow for a dishwasher

3) A local psychologist with wheelchair accessible premises I can get to without too much trouble.

Trying to get my life all organised :)

I'd forgotten one could use a stick-blender for chopping things... I'm not even sure where the chopping attachment for mine is. I mainly use mine for pureeing soups and fruit smoothies. After breaking at least three of them because they could not cope with the frozen fruit (pre-frozen fruit makes the best smoothies) I gritted my teeth and bought an actual Bamix. I haven't regretted it; those things are built to last.

Yes, I've not had any trouble with Bamix or Sunbeam. But I admit for smoothies I'm usually making them for a crowd, so I pull out the big jug blender. Frozen cubed mango FTW.
