Settlement is in a week.
A week.
And then we have keys.
And a house.
And a mortgage.

Also cam is in New Zealand for a conference until Sunday.
Final inspection is on Monday.
Settlement is on Thursday.
A week after that is swancon.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Um. But I'm coping. Pretty well. Considering.

I remember standing in this house for the first time as owner thinking "Holy crap I've spent an awful lot of money on something I've only seen two or three times."

Haha yeah. I'm a little parnoid we'll spend the final inspection going "Oh no I didn't notice that before D:"

We had a professional inspection done which was exceedingly helpful. Without much else to go on I chose a company called Sherlock Homes.

Exciting! Our settlement is on Monday. Do you have a moving plan yet?

W00t! Just think of the power of being able to go "I want a permanent bookshelf fixed to the wall RIGHT THERE! I want a hanging hook for art RIGHT THERE!"

I miss that. Thankfully the new landlord is pretty flexible with me hanging stuff on walls, especially if I hang his artwork up at the same time. :-)

(Sad he won't let me put up my really massive bookshelves tho :-)

I am going to hang SO MANY PICTURES. SO MANY. I am going to have to stop myself buying All The Art at Swancon, first we have to hang the stuff we have.
