Dear Doer of Darkness Document
Sep. 3rd, 2012 03:25 pmSome suggestions for whoever was assigned to me for Kaleidoscope.
Hello! These are just suggetions, if you feel inspired to make something that doesn't quite fit them that's cool. These are all fandoms where any fanwork is likely to make me happy. Have fun!
Here's some of my general preferences. I am ALL ABOUT relationships between women, and points of view that haven't been explored, and tend to like some sort of character growth/change to happen during a story.
Lizzie Bennet Diaries:
What ARE Charlotte's personal projects? What it Charlotte's POV on the events of the story in general? We see everything through Lizzie's eyes, but Charlotte must have her own life going on we don't get to hear about. Now that we've met Maria I love her too, maybe something about the two of them making little films together when they were younger (Doctor Who adventures maybe :))
But in general I love this series, and there's hardly any fanworks, so anything you feel like exploring about it would be great.
Kuragehime
Since the manga is ongoing: a happy ending! I mildly ship Tsukimi/Kuranosuke but mainly I just want to see everyone happy with all their problems resolved or at least looking they probably will be. If you're making a vid then: happy female friendships! Cool dresses! Jellyfish!
T-ara(티아라) DAY BY DAY
Added femslashiness (though not between the main two characters since they're sisters) or agency for the blind character would be great, but anything involving women being awesome and hitting each other with swords is all good :D Scifi worldbuilding filling out the premise would be great too. (I don't speak Korean so am fuzzy on the canon details, even just filling those in for me would be great) I am deeply curious about this mysterious swordswoman who shows up in the preview.
D.E.B.S.
The secret adventures of Max and Dominique. With Wendy Watson, perhaps :D
Shiawase Enikki | しあわせ絵日記 | Happy Picture Diary
Cute shippiness, lgbt humour, wacky adventures, anything!
And now stuff I didn't sign up for:
Gokusen
This series needed more maths :D Also I am a huge Shin/Kumiko shipper, anything about them would be great. Especially if it was mathsy! (Nothing while she's his teacher though, please)
Scott Pilgrim
Knives going on and being happy after canon (movie or comic)
The Middleman (the show, haven't read the comics)
More of the same really. Crossovers with any of the above!
Skip Beat!
I have stopped reading the manga in annoyance at the focus on Ren's man pain (is that still a thing?) So I would like to see Kyoko being an awesome actress and having fun (possibly femslashy :D) adventures with Kanae.

Apparently I am the kind of person who reads people's request letters for challenges I didn't sig
Date: 2012-09-03 06:39 pm (UTC)I am relieved to read this because that's where my shipping tendencies are leaning and in your pitch you only mentioned the Tsukimi and Shuu relationship. I was vaguely worried we may be on opposite sides of a (probably non-existent) shipping war!

Date: 2012-09-09 12:07 pm (UTC)I think Shuu and Tsumiki's awkwardness around each other is adorable, but I don't think they'd be at all good for each other as a couple. It reminds me a little of a G rated version of the Kimi wa Petto love triangle, if you've read that (the two love interests are a traditionally desirable "Perfect Japanese Man", who the main character dates joylessly for a while, and a somewhat androgynous and unconventional younger guy. And there's consent issues with an aggressively feminine woman and the first guy HMMMMMmmmm...)
