So I can link to it for prompts for other people and mine it for inspiration when I feel creative but directionless. To be added to when inspiration strikes.


Harry Potter: (some of) the events of the books from the POV of a muggle, highlighting the dodgy class/power relationship and paternalism of the Wizard/muggle dynamic.

Babylon 5: Marcus is a girl AU happy Ivanova/Marcus femslash

Buffy/Angel: season 7 Buffy and/or Season 5 Angel AU where Spike-with-a-soul is a new character, like Angel vs Angelus or Liam, and he tries to figure out who he is now (should it be set during the right part of the season, he will give back his mother's coat to Robin, because it's *not his coat*) Preferably not a shippy Spike/Buffy story though obviously his feelings for her are relevant to his characterisation.

Star Trek: Kirk introduces his partner (who can be whoever on the crew you feel is most amusing, including original Spock :)) to his mother

Dragon Age Origins: Velanna and her sister as children (or just in happier times)

True Blood/Vampire Diaries/Angel/Buffy/Being Huamn/other vampire stuff: A girl has a choice between being a passive victim or an evil slut. If she aims for power or control she is doomed. The Evil Women are presented as threats to the female protagonist but they are both caught in the same trap. Possibly "Sober" by Pink?

I would read a re-angled Harry Potter series from a muggle POV. Especially if said muggle were drawn into the thick of events and had to Save the Day with Plucky Muggle Skills and all.
