So you've just started playing Glitch

A bunch of people on my flist/reading list have gotten into this game recently, and since I've been playing for over a year I thought I'd offer some tips.

First: feel free to add me! Just let me know who you are if it's not obvious from your username :) My two accounts are Sequoia Baer and Allie S Squibber. Be warned that my mix of extroversion and social anxiety can be disconcertingly awkward in realtime...

Second: Feel free to ask me for help in game, especially if you haven't quite got the right skills to achieve something yet (Sequoia Baer is the older account so is better qualified to do this) I LOVE helping people out, and the game really encourages friendliness and generosity. There's also Live Help and the forums if you can't figure something out or hit a bug.

Three things making me happy

Elementary! It's a modern version of Sherlock Holmes set in New York and three of the first four episodes have been great (the third was irritatingly generic serial killer plot, ug. Hopefully there won't be more of those)

Crust! We ordered from them last night, I got Peking duck with Hoisin sauce and vegetables (and no cheese or chili) and it was GREAT. Probably the best cheese free pizza I have ever had. The gluten free and vegetarian options are apparently great too. Unfortunately they couldn't tell me the ingredients of their meat marinades, so peking duck is probably the only one I'll be brave enough to try, but I can live with that.

Kaleidoscope! There was an issue with AO3 and it went unanon but just in case that gets fixed, I shall keep my super secret writers super secret identities a secret :)

Anyway: I got two fics and they're both great! The writers gave me exactly what I asked for.
