So, after putting it into the "tricky tasks to do later" basket for a while I got around to figuring out how to use the credit card(*) and I just bought stuff online for pretty much the first time.
It's disturbingly easy. A simple click and immediate gratification!
I bought paid lj membership for 6 months (I know, such a frivolous luxury, but I kept wanting it more and more) for $18ish and Winterfair Gifts by Lois McMaster Bujold for about $2.
You know, I was always brought up to be non materialistic and to find happiness through self worth and a deep understanding of the true meaning of life. But the older and richer I get, the more I realise that buying stuff is fun :D
Of course, it says a lot that I feel all naughty and materialistic for spending twenty dollars.
Prepare yourselves many polls in the near future :)
(*)In my defense, I thought I'd have to borrow it off Cam having forgotten I got one in my name too
