Quickflix looks like they're going to close! So, in case their site goes down, here is my queue of dvds in a place I am likely to remember it. Plus I thought people might be curious. Heavily skewed by a few rounds of "What are all the old classics I haven't seen?" and "Oooh look a list of happy queer movies", only the first 10-20 or so are things I actually intend on watching (and maybe not even then. Past Sophie and I do not always agree)

A follow on from this post, what I've rented from Quickflix since then. All votes out of 5, if unrated it means Cam rented it. But pay them no attention, I'm very inconsistent with voting.

So, a bit over a year ago I joined Quickflix. Since all the movies I've watched have been chosen on the basis that I'll have to wait for them and pay nearly double the price, they're an interesting mix of movies etc that I was genuinely interested in seeing. Since it keeps the history, I thought I'd go through each movie and give a brief synopsis and the rating I gave (I suck at rating things, though, so don't worry about them too much :))

I will happily expand on my comments for anything you guys are interested in.

EDIT: Hmm. So, the options seem to be
A) One at a time, 2 per month $10
B) Two at a time, 4 per month $15-$20
C) One at a time, unlimited $18ish (also two at a time for more)
D) Three at a time unlimited (or 10 dvd limit) $30-$36 (also four, five etc)

Quik Flix and Webflicks A,B,D
Big Pond Movies B,D cheap for Bigpond customers.
DVD Direct, DVD Jam and v2 direct (looks dodgy) C,D

As pointed out in this article I found via Google (also this Choice article) they pretty much all offer free trials. *ponders several months straight of free dvds..hmm...*
