Jack Jeanne Masterpost
Sep. 10th, 2024 09:24 pmJack Jeanne is a thus far quite enjoyable and VERY GENDER otome game about a girl who disguises herself as a boy to attend an all-boys acting school with a tradition of dividing roles into 'Jacks' (male roles) and 'Jeannes' (female roles) She then gets to know and in some cases romance various male classmates, who are a mix of Jack and Jeanne (and in some cases both). Afaict the English version is exclusive to the Nintendo Switch.
Here's the protagonist Kisa and all her potential boyfriends. From left to right: Kai, Fumi, Neji, Kisa the protagonist, Sou, Mitsuki, and Suzu.

Initial review/info No Spoilers
All the Jack Jeanne songs, with thoughts Spoils some of the common route
Note: I talk a bunch about "incorrect answers" but the game doesn't actually work that way, I just misunderstood the walkthrough.
Spoilery posts (each tends to reference the earlier ones), generally just the Good and Best endings:

- Sou 2 Electric Boogaloo: End of Common Route + Sou scenes
- Done with Sou Part of the Sou Route (I didn't like it and stopped)
- Suzu Route
- Fumi route
- Neji route
- the true ending for Soshiro 'Sou' Yonaga Mentions earlier routes a bit

Classes (like school houses)
- Quartz: Focus on acting and flexibility in roles. Agender vibes.
- Onyx: Focus on dancing and Jack roles. Manly gay vibes.
- Rhodonite: Focus on singing and Jeanne roles. All the Jeannes dress super femme all the time and refer to themselves as women.
- Amber: Unique artists, kinda transcend gender with the weirdness of their plays.
Characters: given name first, in the same order as the image above
