Below the cut, the two prompts I posted, for my own records. I don't know if I'll write anything, I haven't had the writing bug in a while, but it was fun coming up with prompts.
Mansfield Park, Mary/Fanny
A post-canon Mary, frustrated by how things played out, is unexpectedly hit by a carriage(*) and finds herself back at the start of the book. She initially has some not-entirely-wise plan to Fix things (though what she would considered 'fixed' is an open question she may be unsure of herself), or perhaps just to have fun with her extra knowledge. But everything and everyone seems a little different with the benefit of hindsight, and despite having a chip on her shoulder about how things ended with Fanny, Mary finds herself increasingly drawn to the friend she knows will likely be parted from once again.
(*)This is a reference to an anime trope, feel free to replace with something less silly :)
Emma, Emma/Jane:
Emma finds out about Jane and Frank's engagement earlier in canon, not long after meeting Frank. She's surprised at the intensity of her negative feelings about the engagement. At first she thinks maybe she's jealous of Jane, then that she feels angry at Frank for leading her on, and then that she is angry at Frank on Jane's behalf. And then, at last, she realises she's jealous of Frank...
Either Mr Knightley's feelings for Emma never come up, or it's implied that seeing her happily involved with someone else helps him get over her.
