Bundle for Ukraine is an itchio bundle with an absurdly huge number of games for $10 or more, supporting Ukraine based charities.
I am very tired today but here's a half assed summary of what stood out to me amongst the THIRTY FOUR pages of games. Asterixes for those I am aware of being available for mac.

I am very tired today but here's a half assed summary of what stood out to me amongst the THIRTY FOUR pages of games. Asterixes for those I am aware of being available for mac.
Games I have played and enjoyed:
- hidden folk Search for hidden folks in hand-drawn, interactive, miniature landscapes. Great fun, except for the racist, tropey depictions of indigenous people.
- The Lost Art of Innkeeping You’ve just inherited Cascade Manor from your eccentric aunt, but not only is it in a dismal condition, you have only 30 days to pay off the loan your aunt took out shortly before her death. Fun management sim with light plot.
- Glittermitten Grove A tiny fun little gathering/base-building game containing a much larger weird game I didn't understand or enjoy.
- Baba is You A puzzle game where you change the rules. Brilliant, but very hard, I didn't get very far but enjoyed the little I did play.
Games I played and didn't click with but other people love:
- 2064: Read Only Memories merges old-school adventure gaming with modern storytelling to explore some of the social challenges we will face in the near future. Seemed fine but I got bored.
- Celeste super-tight, hand-crafted platformer from the creators of multiplayer classic TowerFall. Very good, I just don't like platformers.
- A Short Hike a little exploration game about hiking up a mountain. Charming, I just sucked at the jumping.
- Arcade Spirits a romantic visual novel that follows an alternative timeline where the 1983 video game crash never occurred. Seemed fine but I got bored.
Highly recced games that aren't my sort of thing:
- Minit a peculiar little adventure played sixty seconds at a time.
- A Good Snowman is Hard to Build An adorable puzzle game about being a monster and making snowmen.
- Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2 The highest selling and most intense restaurant sim ever made is back!
- Jotun: Valhalla Edition a hand-drawn action-exploration game set in Norse mythology.
- SUPERHOT The first person shooter where time moves only when you move.
- Someone else's rec list
Recced games I mean to check out:

Date: 2022-03-09 01:02 am (UTC)Thank you for this comment, because it made me go "Wait, I remember seeing that and thinking it looked interesting, why didn't I check it out?" which made me re-examine the first page or two of games and I'd somehow missed adding like SEVEN games before my brain kicked in and I started adding them all to my text document. edits post And thanks for the rec in and of itself! Is there anything that requires fast or precise reactions?
