There was another of those massive itchio bundles recently, this time for Palestinian Aid. Having bought a copy, I went through all FORTY THREE pages of games to compile some recs with half-assed notes. If you didn't buy the bundle the games might be worth checking out anyway.

Ooh, thank you! I got the bundle on a whim (not like I need more games but otoh... it was very cheap and I am weak) and would have had no idea where to start.

Ha yeah I had no idea most of this stuff was in there when I bought it. I hope you find some stuff you like!

I just recently played Retrace and really, really loved it, so seconding that rec! As a game it doesn't really stand out - it's pretty short, the puzzles are simple, and the "action sequences" are entirely trivial (at least on Normal difficulty, which I played at) - but the sort of meta-puzzle is super interesting, the characters manage to be extremely lovable and memorable even given how little time and space we have to get to know them, and it's very, very gay! (There's also a short Twine game epilogue I'd recommend playing after you finish it that fleshes out the one character I thought kind of needed a bit more fleshing out. But it's spoilery, because epilogue, so, don't look into it before playing.)

I played the first episode of Long Story years and years ago when it first came out, and all I can say about it is that it didn't really grab me enough for me to keep up with the releases.

You may be happy to know this comment was what prompted me to actually download Retrace and upload it to the server so I can play it on the Windows machine (which has patchy internet)

Yeah that was my experience of Long Story too. Back then it was one of the rare games where you could play as non binary but even that's not a major advantage now.
