Even though they've been married for a few months Yukimura is still blushy and earnestly overjoyed by MC, it's very cute.
The Mitsuhide story was about the Oda attacking the Takeda and being unexpectedly attacked by the Hojo.
This one is about the Takeda's allies fighting off the Oda...and the Hojo. Geeze, Hojo Clan, pick a side!
The problem with my two faves being Yukimura and Mitsuhide is they keep trying to kill each other, and not in a fun sexy rivals way. And I mean it's kinda cool, the way game plays with the player's loyalties like that, but also STOP TRYING TO KILL YUKIMURA AND HIS FRIENDS, MITSUHIDE.
Yukimura wants to rush to war while his dad wants to be more cautious and even prepare for the possibility of bending the knee. But thinking of MC makes Yukimura be more thoughtful.
Things are looking so bad that even Yukimura's older brother Nobuyuki may have to fight.
Saizo goes up to MC and whispers in her ear "Do something about that": Yukimura has been running laps for hours. So MC stands in his path and he stops, looking awful, but he implores her "I can't...I can't stand being still."
So she asks him to help her cook, earning her a grateful smile. He's INTENSE about kneading dough, and careful not to touch her with floury hands even though he wants to.
Yukimura: What is it going to make?
MC: Hoto noodles.
Yukimura: Milord Shingen loved Hoto noodles... :(
Oh. I guess he died during Yukimura's Act 2 :(
Yukimura: When he left us I thought he'd taken my reason for living with him... But thanks to you I was able to see something else in this world worth believing in. If my brother is sent out to fight...do you think...I'll be able to protect him...and what Milord Shingen left me at the same time?
MC: Yukimura :(
Yukimura: Sorry, I shouldn't bother you with this.
MC: I'm your wife, Yukimura...these are exactly the things I should hear.
She hugs him.
Nobuyuki and MC bond in their worry about Yukimura, and wishing he would depend on them more. MC remembers his death seeking behaviour when they met. "Even though he would never let me take up a sword...I am the bride of Sanada Yukimura, and I will fight too!"
She asks him to put his head in her lap and he gets very bashful. MC finds it adorable. "My happiness could also be helped by the fact I do not often get to be above him when we are intimate".
I bet he'd be into femdom if you asked nicely, MC.
Yukimura: You playing with my hair feels like you're comforting a little boy.
MC: Sorry.
Yukimura, blushing: No, don't stop...

Anyway, MC asks him to rely more on her and Nobuyuki, and he sleepily agrees.
Later he bumps into Nobuyuki wandering the corridors at night.
Yukimura: If I had been strong enough...you would never have had to bear the burdens of War, Brother.
Nobuyuki: You have chosen to survive, and I have chosen to fight. It is the same decision for us both.
Yukimura: I go into a battle a braver man, knowing that my brother stands beside me! ...and when I return...would you...could you let me...have your lap again...?
Instead of just rushing in and killing everything himself, Yukimura decides to use STRATEGY and ASKING OTHERS TO HELP.
Saizo, draping himself over Yukimura's shoulders: Put your thinking cap on for this one didn't you dear?
Yukimura: I'll have you know I'm always thinking about stuff!
Now that the Sanada are an independent clan, they need allies, especially spies like Saizo.
LIKE SHADOW!MC's VILLAGE?? ...I'm guessing not.
After the victory feast, a slightly tipsy Yukimura tells MC that when he touches her, it feels like she's the one keeping him safe.
The game kinda implies that Yukimura is not fantastic in bed, and needs to be reminded to be gentle and take things slowly, but is very well meaning and affectionate so MC is still happy.
...which increases my Yukimura/MC/Saizo feels, since if you combine them you get a competent husband.
Yukimura: Saiozo, come help me hoe the dirt for for MC's vegetable garden! It's fun!
Saizo: Not my thing, dear :/
Nobuyuki: That does look fun! Can I help?
MC: Yes, these seedlings need their supports to grow...
Nobuyuki: Just like our family :)
Aw. That was all pretty cute.
Epilogue preview:
Yukimura gets mini-Sasuke to put his head in his lap, I think cos Sasuke needs to elevate his head with a nosebleed or something.
MC gets jealous (of a CHILD) and wants to put her head in Yukimura's lap?
