Hmm! I talk about games with friends a lot offline and on social media etc, but don't tend to play games with friends. Playing with other people has tended to involve a lot of them going "Why are you so bad at this D:" which isn't fun for anyone. I like the fact that other people are around in MMOs, but tend to keep to myself most of the time.
I just started playing the MMO Final Fantasy 14, and specifically joined a server some of my friends are on, but right now am doing early level basic stuff by myself.sami did come say hi and show me her very shiny axe :) I'm a bit self conscious about being incompetently noobish when I do end up playing with other people, but everyone's been been very nice in the discord etc and it's not like they'll actually die if I screw up.
I mostly played Glitch solo but visited and hung out with friends a little, we'd give each other stuff and admire each other's houses etc. That was probably the best experience I've had playing with friends.
