I have been enjoying these speedruns as linked byflamebyrd. As she says, the Myst one is especially satisfying if you've ever gotten frustrated by it's puzzles. He just jumps over them!

Somewhat more abstract cheerfulness:
I found out that there's an indie ebook company that sells DRM-free ebooks for a bunch of indie publishers (including self-published authors) which makes it a lot easier for those small magazines and presses to put out and sell electronic subscriptions and books! This makes me happy.
I'm very happy that the upcoming !!Con West conference will include a dance performance alongside a bunch of more traditional-style talks and presentations (it is more of the kind of thing I have been making and encouraging for a few years).
