She had a sudden attack of the same partial paralysis and dizziness as before. Since the vet couldn't do anything last time and just made her feel worse we decided to just keep her at home and hope it settled by itself like last time, and it did. This is apparently a thing cats just get sometimes for no apparent reason, and it has no treatment but usually goes away by itself.
She's basically ok now, still recovering but not miserable, just a little unsteady on her feet. But last night was awful, she kept having dizzy spells and miaowing miserably all "I am sad can you humans fix it please :(". Also she wasn't eating or drinking, since the dizziness causes nausea, and we worried that would be an Issue, luckily by this morning she was back to normal in that respect.
Last night I lay on the floor on couch cushions so she could snuggle next to me, since she's not up for climbing, and she eventually got some sleep but woke me up every now and then during the night until about 2am when she fully settled.
I handled it pretty well at the time, for me, but am now exhausted and sore and emotionally messed up. I'll be ok eventually but UGH rebound depression is the WORST. Luckily a new Stardew Valley update came out so I am playing that.
