This was low key but cute! MC was basically dating a brattier, douchier version of herself, and she adores herself, so that worked out pretty well. He's mostly willing to admit he enjoys MC's company?? What kind of dating sim path is this??
I did Cala's side conversations but have nothing much to say about it. She was mildly interesting.
Content note for the path but not this post: he says "bitch" a lot, which is a word I don't like very much, but it's mostly not very gendered.

I decided I felt like dating a guy who shows sincere interest. We'll see how much this game is willing to deliver on that though haha.
*does all relevant cheats and equips a bunch of items to skip content by like weekend 3, I am so done with stats grinding*
Though sadly I still have to do a bunch of "one in five actually has a conversation" things to see all Everett's work and sms conversations. Also I'm doing the side conversations for little girl psychic Cala this time.
Everett is all "I vaguely remember who you are but I guess I can fit you into my schedule" when MC asks him out, but at least doesn't say no.
Oh gosh they just had a cute conversation about what kind of tree they'd be and barely insulted each other once I don't know how to deal with this sort of content

Plus, you know, Everett's a whiny stuck-up entitled brat. But at least he isn't doggedly negative, and he's not smart or stubborn enough to be effectively insincere. And since he and MC can both be selfish, shallow, and bitchy, they suit each other pretty well. Lots of "I'm awesome but you suck and should give me things. Oh, you did do something nice, ok, cool." Sometimes he outbrats her enough to get his own way?! But mostly not, lol.
...I'm having more fun than you'd expect from that description haha. Maybe I've just been stockholm syndromed by terrible boys.
Everett barely tries to hide how happy he is that he fits MC's described type. Haaa but oh no he is totally going to describe Nate when going into his type. WAIT NO IT'S PRAN :D
Turns out Alicia and Everett also intensely dislike each other. I didn't know Alicia disliked anyone, good job Everett.
Oh that's interesting, you can unlock all the dates with cheats but can't cheat yourself right into a boyfriend. Unless I just didn't cheat enough.
The Cala path is a lot of MC being a jerk to a little kid, which works well for someone dating Everett haha.

And then they have a cute conversation about weird places they would have sex if they were going to have sex, and bond about being immature.
Everett POV on the school trip etc: a year ago when Pran and Jeremy arrived at the school, Everett thought Pran was cool and they hung out (he blushes about this a little and you could totally read it it was him having had a thing for Pran) But he was mean to Jeremy so Pran told Everett to stay away from him. Everett thought it would be ok sharing a room but being stuck in a room together got to him and so he got Pran to swap with Shiloh. And then he and Shiloh had fun trying on each others accessories, and MC joined in.
Ha that date consisted entirely of Jeremy convincing Everett to try dumb hiccup cures, and then telling him he was stupid for believing it.

When Everett insults Pran, Jeremy goes on a tear about Everett being jealous because Pran is hotter than him, and after some nasty back and forth tells Everett to go fuck himself and leaves. I don't think I've ever seen Jeremy swear before! MC's main takeaway is that Everett was willing to go somewhere he hates just because she asked, because that is her thing.
Everett did badly on a test so Nate hung out on all his dates until he did better. Which motivated JB to get Everett to study, much to Nate's satisfaction and Everett's distaste. They have such a weird friendship.
And then even though this relationship is fun enough, I got a little bored and decided I felt like seeing the start of Bae's and Nate's routes. Which both look promising!
MC: Hi Jeremy how's things?
Jeremy: Terrible, but at least Everett isn't here.
MC: He's not that bad. He's actually pretty great.
Jeremy: He's one of the most terrible things at this terrible school.
MC: Fine, fine, he's one of the worst people here. But so are both of us.
Jeremy: That doesn't mean we're compatible.
MC: You and I are still friends, right?
Jeremy: Uh.
MC: You don't think less of me for dating Everett?
Jeremny: Not really. You're not dating him because you're stupid enough to think he's cool.
And then she bullies him into hanging out with her and chatting. Aw.

Everett: Why act like it's for my birthday? There aren't enough cold showers in the world to shut you off.

I think she may be the thirstiest dating sim protag I have ever played, it's delightful.
Awww! So I was enjoying a cute moment between Everett and MC at Prom where he talked about being happy to let Nate win at stuff like Prom King: Nate cares more, and will win anyway. So I was vaguely pondering how Everett will react when Nate dates MC, who Everett always seems to have a bit of a thing for, and overall feeling some mild feels about Everett and MC being a cute couple, and then Everett came out to MC as bi.
She was cool with it and he was happy she was cool with it and it was pretty sweet. And then they make out for a few minutes before Everett runs back to his dorm so Nate doesn't get angry about the possibility of them having sex haha.
The fact that Everett comes out as bi and the other three so far haven't tells me nothing about their sexuality, because Shiloh would never admit to being into anyone but MC, and the other two won't even admit to being into her.
But Everett totally has a thing for Pran haha. Or at least hurt feelings about his previous crush being rebuffed.
OH and that would make him hate Jeremy more! I mean he hated Jeremy on his own merits, but it definitely wouldn't help when he realised how close they were.
It's so hard to not just always punch Shiloh in punch/kiss/marry. I can't bring myself to punch Jeremy, but I'll punch Pran, he wouldn't care.

I like that because one of Everett's flaws is that he's terrible at making his own decisions, MC is less overbearing in this route than in the others. While she still definitely takes the lead most of the time she likes when he shows a little initiative. Especially when it involves being late for the graduation ceremony to make out.
