I was tagged byanghraine in a 9 top albums meme. If I made this on a different day I might have included almost entirely different albums. Except Amnesiac, I could basically listen to that forever. I picked quickly to stop myself overthinking, and only let myself list albums where I actually listen to the whole album, and it couldn’t be a Best Of, which excluded a lot of bands. Also I only let myself list Radiohead once >.>

I also made a Spotify list, if anyone wants the full “I listened a lot to Triple J in the late 90s” experience.
I've been listening to the playlist all day, it's been fun.
TAGGING PEOPLE IS HARD, but if you look at this and go “Hmm, what ARE my top 9 albums”, you are tagged. If you have similar taste to me you are DOUBLE tagged so I can get new music recs ;) And if you have different taste to me: I am married to someone who thinks Radiohead is just noise and owns MULTIPLE Nickelback albums. It's cool.
(triple j is the local Youth Radio Station. I listen to it sometimes now and the presenters are all so YOUNG, and the music is SOMEHOW not as good as it used to be when I was young, and the presenters all seemed grownup and cool. I also almost included Lungs by Florence and the Machine, so anghraine and I don't have ENTIRELY mutually exclusive taste in music, just close to it.)
