Non binary art prompts!

Give me art prompts including at least one character you see as non-binary!

By non-binary I mean: their gender is not completely and exclusively male or female. All sorts of non-binary are welcome, including non-binary women and non-binary men.

By non-binary character I mean: original non-binary characters, characters who identify as non-binary in canon, and any character you think would go "yeah, that's me" if the concept of being non-binary was explained to them. It doesn't have to be your only head-canon for them, and you don't have to justify it, as long as it's something you feel sincerely.

I'd rather prompts from binary gendered folk not focus on gender or presentation, and avoid aliens/robots etc for whom human gender is irrelevant.

Image references are appreciated for original characters or those who are hard to look up. Please no: zombies, incest, or porn. Also, no non-binary headcanons for characters who are a binary trans man or woman in canon.

This inspired me to actually play the copy of Transistor I bought a million years ago, it's fun so far but the sort of thing I only play in short bursts. So I'm putting off drawing this until I either encounter Bailey Gilande or give up on finishing the game, but will get to it eventually!

Oh gosh. If you're into it, Blaine from my Glee AU, Each of Us a City? Kurt and Blaine, played by Chris Colfer and Darren Criss, are pretty searchable.

Heh, they are indeed. Two questions: 1) is your Blaine a little shorter than canon or the same? 2) What would Kurt be wearing i the club when they get together in the last chapter? (I haven't watched Glee so my sense for the clothes is very vague)

I don't have strong feelings about Blaine's height. Canon Blaine is around 5'8", so maybe my Blaine is a couple inches shorter.

Kurt is usually all sharp, slim, tailored lines, though he left his house in a hurry tonight. Snug jeans and a collared shirt rolled up past his elbows?

Chloe and Max from Life is Strange? My initial reading of Max was non-binary, and I also like reading Chloe as NB. For a more specific prompt, I really like art of them in which they are older than they are in-game.

That sounds cute but I haven't played BOTW (and have only a vague familiarity with the Legend of Zelda in general) What would Link be doing? I could draw them lounging on a generic beach but canon-compliant details are always nice :)

I did draw a complete blank - and Vaarsuvius is the only name I know off that list.

I'm sure I have non-binary headcanons floating around, but I also draw a blank on recalling any of them except Pascal Curious from Strangetown in The Sims 2. Er, I have screenshots of the Pascal from my own game I could dig up when I'm not procrastinating at bedtime, if you feel that you'd like to draw a Sim, but in the case that you immediately yearn to draw Pascal, tumblr has plenty of other people's interpretations too. (It's just that I consider the canonical dorky sandals highly important and everyone else gets rid of them ASAP.)

Pascal is canonically an extreme space nerd with a fondness for gamer tees, and as his best friend is a gay man, that's something of a fandom favourite pairing. I consider him to be a highly introspective, closeted sort who's not sure if he's maybe non-binary, maybe bi, maybe gay, maybe socially awkward enough that the whole question is hypothetical, but he sure reads up on the internet - and then meticulously clears his history so his brothers don't ask him about it.

I have been attempting to scrape together the brain and concentration to find the best Pascal screenshot or two for you from my meticulously ordered screenshot folder for some weeks. And you've drawn an entire picture for me <3<3<3 and it's perfect and lovely!

Yes, there's the alien baby aspect to his story too! I've been delving into and headcanoning his backstory, so I know what sort of life the baby is upending when we first meet the family, but of course the green tot is massively important in his life. My view on it all is that he'd expected having a baby to be a fascinating science experiment and hadn't expected all these emotions to come with it. He drew up that feeding schedule so carefully before the event, with reference to the soundest research, and then threw it all away when it turned out his baby needed cuddles more than checklists.

Pascal and child looking at the stars together is the absolute perfect scene <3 I love their gentle expressions and matching soft floppy hair.
