Reactions masterlist and character guide, also you can see all the characters on the website. I've added a more detailed description of how the endings work to the guide.

I had a very nice conversation with a helpful ozmafia fan who let me know I should be safe with the remaining routes (though I am going to have to go through ALL the endings to get the true ending, hooray for the skip function)

So, let's start wth the default love interest, Oz's lovable Don, Caramia!

This was pretty inoffensive and cute.

I nearly started a Scarlet playthrough but I really do want to finish the main 3 Oz boys first, I think, since they're all interconnected. And from the sound of things Caramia is a bit of a sook, which I could deal with right now.

Is...is that a laptop on his desk? Ahhh no it's a box of guns or something. OK COOL. The worldbuilding is confusing enough without adding computers.

Also he's wearing reading glasses and it is CUTE. He's super into books, and is reading a book on amnesia to try to help Fuka!
A smiling Caramia in glasses with little pointy teeth visible.

Aww he offers to teach her to cook but she is so bad even his optimistic, tactful nature has to settle for "everyone has different strengths" haha.

Even though I'm pursuing Caramia, Fuka still attempts to rescue Axel and hugs him when he's safe, awww.

(ahhh Axel I still love youuuu)

(pashet basically doesn't show up in the main plotline so I have less chances to swoon)

Gretel keeps referring to Fuka as a little girl, I had kind of been thinking of Gretel as a teenager but maybe she's just a VERY UNBALANCED adult.

One nice thing about this ship is that while Fuka is in many ways a typical otome heroine, she's relatively fearless, so she's a good match for the equally fearless, optimistic, and good natured Caramia. The main difference is that she gets more self conscious about flirting, and the fact that while Caramia isn't notably clever, Fuka is very very dumb.

Caramia: You might not think it, but I get sick really easily.
Fuka: I wonder if I do...let's experiment!
Caramia: No??

Fuka: Kyrie took me to Oscar Wilde Street (aka the street with the brothel)
Caramia: For what? D:
Fuka: A stroll! Have you ever been to the mansion there?
Caramia: Kyrie took me once but the smell of perfume was so strong I started sneezing and left.

But since she's still curious he explains: the Oscar Wilde crew used to be mafia, but made a deal with the famiglia to stay independent in exchange for running funerals etc. "So now it's a meeting place for people from all the famiglia. That's why Kyrie goes there so much." UH HUH.

Caramia I would like you more if it wasn't for these constant sexist double standards...but I guess he is at least a benevolent, chivalrous sexist who would never take advantage etc.

He got her a diary so she can record her memories and maybe even jog her old ones, what a good idea!

Caramia makes a very strict division between his famiglia (who he is fiercely loyal to and feels responsible for) and everyone else (who he may like, but still ultimately tends to see as enemies)

He's jealous of Scarlet? I mean I guess I was planning on romancing him soon. Caramia tries not to be a jerk about it, though, and then he gets endearingly self conscious about whether she is maybe finding his mansion boring.

He makes a bonfire to cook sweet potatoes using....some of his old books? o.O

A smiling Caramia behind the text She watched him toss a few more books onto the roaring flames.
MMM. SEXY.

I'm sorry, walkthrough, but I'm saying it's a waste. GIVE THEM TO SOMEONE ELSE. I'm not super precious about books in general but these are hardly rotten old discards noone wants.

Caramia takes her to a bar and deliberately doesn't get her drunk, saying he doesn't want her getting into trouble. But when he's out of the room she tries his drink anyway, and is immediately quite sozzled, becoming an affectionate drunk who tells Caramia she loves him and begs him to stay in her room. He politely extricates himself but finds it all very endearing.

Caramia talks about being awful at cards because he's too honest to bluff, and suspects Fuka would be the same. And sure enough she is, but he still beats her consistently because, you know, smarts.

He tries teaching her to cook again and she cuts herself. Caramia FREAKS OUT and takes her the doctor despite her protest that it's fine.
Robin: You can be very overprotective, Caramia. You're like father and daughter.
Fuka: Ha, I guess.
Caramia: At least say we're like lovers. We're not that far apart in age!

Just gotta make things gross, doncha Robin.

Although it's mostly Caramia taking care of Fuka, she does what she can to take care of him, mostly encouraging him not to get overworked.

At the meteor festival he gets dragged off to deal with various small emergencies, and misses the chance to make a wish.
Caramia: What I want isn't a wish the stars can grant. As long as I'm brave enough, I can say it...

He talks about wanting to protect her "like a father" (bluh) but having at some point started to develop feelings and see her as a woman, feeling at ease around her and being sad when she's gone. He's very careful to emphasise that she is free to say no and he won't use his position to make her life difficult, and is endearingly nervous to hear her reply.

But of course she loves him too, and they hug and are very happy and it's sweet.

There's some cute but not very interesting scenes (leaning into "dating a very powerful but beloved leader" tropes) that I can't be bothered describing.

Looks like the walkthrough led me onto the Kyrie rivalry! Good, he'll be easier to reject than Axel. Fuka hears Caramia tell Kyrie that Fuka has a "strangely familiar scent".

Gratuitous angst as Caramia refuses to explain, and Kyrie tells Fuka she's just a replacement for Caramia's first love, then says she'd be better off with him. Caramia is furious, and tells Fuka that yes, her smell reminds him of someone from his past he cared about but can barely remember. But he fell in love with her for herself.

And so she chooses Caramia.

Fuka joins Famiglia Oz. Her getting a brand is described in more detail and is MUCH WEIRDER when it's being done by her boyfriend who also KIND OF OWNS HER NOW. I mean he was very nice about it! And while it isn't my kink I'm sure it made some players very happy.

They really are delightfully pleased with each other, it's cute.

I looked up a summary of this path before I started, and it didn't go into much detail...except for this next bit, which they described in increasing frustration at how silly it is. And...yeah.

So. Fuka surprises Caramia at work and he accidentally shoots her! He becomes a TOTAL MESS and Axel has to take charge of getting her to the doctor, who has to operate WITHOUT ANAESTHETIC because she's on cold medication.

I mean this is vaguely set in the early 20th century so the cold meds are probably a mixture of cocaine and heroin. BUT STILL. COME ON.

Caramia is suddenly now too neurotic and afraid to go to meetings etc. Kyrie says the bravery he obtained at the end of the Wizard of Oz seems to have reverted. Fuka encourages Caramia to be brave again because the familgia needs him, but is affectionate and reassuring. Kyrie sends Fuka to represent Oz as his puppet at a meeting (he could do it himself, but prefers to pull the strings from the shadows) She does a better job than Kyrie and Axel expect, but then...

The villainous don of Famiglia Grimm, Hamelin, appears and kidnaps her for no apparent reason! He's being translated as German which I guess makes sense.

When Caramia finds out, he regains his courage with THE POWER OF LOVE or...something and goes to rescue Fuka. He runs through a hail of bullets and confronts Hamelin...who just laughs and pulls out his pipe that controls animals and children. I FORGOT ABOUT THAT.

Hamelin makes Caramia double over in pain, then forces him to bring his gun to his own temple. But Fuka calls out and Caramia overcomes the conditioning with THE POWER OF LOVE, and defeats Hamelin.

When Caramia runs to her side, Fuka exclaims about his many wounds.
Caramia: It's nothing compared to what I did to you. I'm sorry...I can't forgive myself.
Fuka: It wasn't your fault. And I need to be able to handle this sort of thing as a don's partner, right? But I'm glad you're back to normal.
Caramia: Sorry you saw my pathetic side.
Fuka: It was cute <3
Caramia: You're cuter <3
Axel and Kyrie: CAN WE GO NOW

Closing credits!

It's Caramia and Fuka's wedding day! Axel and Kyrie good naturedly tease Caramia, and Robin is quietly angsty. But then, just as they're about to say their "I do"s...Caesar attacks!

Caramia cheerfully pulls Fuka to his side and tells Axel and Kyrie to save the guests while he deals with Caesar. Just another day in the life of the don.

THE END

That was a bit silly, but cute. And the strong emphasis on consent was a NICE CHANGE from CERTAIN OTHER CHARACTERS WHO SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS.

I think next up I'll do Kyrie's "True Love" good end, then work through all the other Oz endings while I remember what all the saves are for. As you can see from this walkthrough, it gets a bit complicated! It's much simpler with the non-Oz love interests.
