Time for the grumpy catgirl!
So this path is supposedly platonic, and I was worried it would be VERY OVERTLY heterosexual, rather than ambiguously heterosexual in a way I could headcanon away. And luckily it was the latter and I LOVED IT.
Content notes: none I can think of! But while I don't go into it here, the path itself has some fatphobia :/
According to the walkthrough I looked up, I hadn't screwed up, for the vast majority of the game Pashet's route really is just the time you spend together on dates, and my dialogue choices outside that don't matter. So I'll pick the ones I did before.
A reminder of her first two dates, from before:
1: She says Fuka is odd to live in a house of men.
2: Fuka watches as the Boots famiglia's female soldiers do drills.
I'm reusing the save I made when I switched paths before, so Axel is pretty clearly into Fuka. SORRY AXEL.
Pashet, like Axel, is very invested in the rules. She tells Fuka that if Fuka ever breaks the rules she will not hesitate to punish her.
Fuka: Did you know Scarlet is a man?
Pashet: Yes? I suppose he is shorter and higher voiced and sweeter faced than me...but he says he's a man and that's enough!

Ahahaha Fuka thought Robin Hood's mask was his REAL FACE??
Fuka makes the valid point that when catgirls exist, a crowman isn't totally far fetched. She also says Pashet's ears are cute, and Pashet says her life would be easier if she had "normal" ears like Fuka and didn't get stared at. Also apparently Pashet has seen behind Robin Hood's mask!

(According to the MangaGamer site, Dorian Grey's both the brothel owner AND the village priest?? Also at least some of the sex workers are bi dudes, which on the one hand makes sense but on the other I'm a little iffy on that being the only queer rep, especially with the Oscar Wilde references...)
After Hansel and Gretel attack Famiglia Oz, Pashet sighs that her famiglia is too intimidating for them to bother attacking any more.
Fuka: Why don't you ask them to attack?
Pashet: OMG YES
Axel bumps into Pashet and Fuka's date while on patrol, and I kind of feel like I'm cheating >.>
Pashet: Working weekends must be tough
Axel: I have no hobbies, so I don't mind.
Fuka: You should get some hobbies!
Pashet: Or you could say that doing patrol is your hobby. A subordinate like you is wasted on Kyrie.
*stills hopes for Pashet/Fuka/Axel triad*

Pashet mentions that one reason Famiglia Grimm is such a mess is that their Don is missing, which hasn't come up before.
Aww she says she's glad to know Fuka, who feels like more of an equal than her subordinates.
I haven't mentioned it before because I don't trust my Japanese, but I think Pashet's using the very impolite "kisama" form of "you" instead of the usual "kimi".
OH NO PASHTET HAS LOST HER SWORD
I think I deleted the joke on the main path where Ashe tried to trick Fuka into buying matches by (very badly) pretending to be a sad match girl. Anyway, looks like she's moved on to extortion. (Also look at the cute little flowers on Pashet's ears ahhh)
Pashet asks Fuka to come along to the Anderson's...BECAUSE SHE'S AFRAID OF FROGS! Melisus apologises and returns the sword.
Hearing that the Wolf Gang intend on attacking, Pashet regrets that Famiglia Boots are too busy guarding the gates and their own territory to wipe out the whole Wolf Gang. Fuka says she doesn't want anyone to die, which Pashet finds baffling, especially regarding those who are trying to kill her.
Pashet: I'm growing fond of you. Don't upset me.
Fuka: YOU'RE FOND OF ME?? :D
Pashet: Not yet! I said I'm getting there.
Fuka: I'll work hard until you say you like me!
Pashet blushes and says Fuka isn't quite right in the head. (She can be quite mean and I love her anyway)
Haa Pashet gets Fuka to come along as moral support while she gets a shot at the doctors. I would find this "warrior woman is secretly afraid of things" dynamic annoying in a het female love interest but considering how girly Fuka is it's just cute.
Axel comes in and Pashet is very embarrassed for him to find out her weakness.

Oh, the duel between Axel and Caesar DID happen, and Axel won. BE CLEARER, GAME.
Pashet feels self conscious to be shopping in the Oz district with Fuka. But then she spots some pretty girly clothes and her eyes go wide at how cute they are. She protests that she doesn't suit feminine clothes but Fuka insists and blushes at how adorable Pashet looks.
This is all very aimed at the ids of gender conforming straight girls but I'm enjoying it anyway.
Pashet makes a joking-but-not-really suggestion that Fuka join Famiglia Boots so she can see their cool Meteor Shower festivities. She approves Soh's cafe despite him being a member of the Wolf Gang, and gets endearingly flustered when Fuka describes her as nice.
Pashet blushingly shows up at the Meteor festival wearing the dress and Fuka gives her a big hug :D Fuka drags Pashet over to Caramia and Axel all LOOK HOW CUTE PASHET IS and they agree. Caramia says to watch out for sleazy guys and Pashet says that won't be a problem. Her heel gets caught in a cobblestone and Axel frees it, Pashet is blushingly grateful.
Pashet self consciously come to visit Fuka, then is taken aback when Axel bursts in desperate for sugar. She definitely has a thing for him, I hope there's space to ship her with Fuka as well in the end. Especially since he was canonically into Fuka earlier this playthrough.
We see Soh having great difficulty teaching Pashet to bake. At once point she threatens him with a knife.
Pashet gets Fuka to taste test some muffins. They're good! Fuka invites Pashet to a picnic with Famiglia Oz, and when she hears Axel will be there Pashet agrees.
blah blah benevolent sexism from Caramia. Axel is VERY INTO the sweets Pashet brings to the picnic and Pashet is blushingly happy. Caramia whispers to Fuka that Pashet has a thing for Axel and Fuka goes OH.
So of course the next time they're alone Fuka is all DO YOU LIKE AXEL? :D
Pashet: WHAT. I. UH. I don't know about like. I'm intrigued. We have a similar combat style, and his personality...isn't so bad...

Pashet, looking for Fuka, bumps into Axel and shyly tries to give him some sweets she baked. But he says he can't accept gifts from other famiglia and tells her to leave :(
Fuka, looking for Pashet, encounters Ande and Gretel eating lunch together. They both react violently to the idea of being friends but I ship it.
First onscreen appearance of Pashet's catboy second, Bercy! Pashet doesn't want visitors, aw.
All the famiglia heads discuss the return of Hamelin, the missing Don of Famiglia Grimm. He committed some crime involving pipes? Gretel and Hansel say he's atoned but the other famiglia see him as a threat.
Meanwhile Fuka waits outside the meeting with Axel, hoping to finally get a chance to speak to Pashet again, even briefly. But Pashet tells her to go away :(
A montage of Fuka visiting Famiglia Boots and being turned away ;_; Fuka finds out about the sweets from an oblivious Axel, and then encounters an angry Pashet who says "everything is Fuka's fault". Come on Pashet, that's not fair!
Fuka angstily wishes there was some way to make things up to Pashet and return to their previous friendship. But then a pipe sounds and armed men attack!
Back at the mansion, Axel says he had to knock out Caramia and tie him up! Hamelin's pipe can control children and animals, including ex-lions. And catgirls???
Oh no, sounds like a lot (all?) of Famiglia Boots is catfolk and they are wreaking havoc! Fuka is told to wait in her room but sneaks out to make sure Pashet is ok.
But she is caught by a Wolf Gang thug who was using the chaos to loot. She's rescued by Soh, who leads her to Pashet because he is a SWEETIE who doesn't want her getting hurt. I'm thinking I'll date Soh next, he comes across as a boyish man (my type!), unlike Scarlet who's more of a manly boy (squicky!) Though he's so nice I have to wonder if he's secretly awful because THAT'S HOW THESE THINGS TEND TO GO.
Pashet is gloomily waiting in her castle to lose to the Grimms: what can she do against mind control?
Fuka: The Pashet I know wouldn't give up!
YEAH I STILL SHIP IT
They run HAND IN HAND through the streets. Pashet hates seeing her subordinates like this, and tells Fuka to run if Pashet gets mind controlled herself. But they make it to the mansion, yay!
(What, no, of course I wasn't hoping for a dubconny moment where a mind controlled Pashet nearly murders Fuka, that would be weird and wrong)
Pashet tells a cheerfully tied up Caramia she has a plan, while Kyrie uses Caramia as a chair *ships them a little*
Fuka wants to help! Pashet thanks Fuka for helping her find her courage, but says
Fuka: Princess...
Pashet: Yes. You have beautiful hands, Fuka, not like my calloused ones. Everything about you is lovelier than me. But I feel no shame, I am who I am. I will be myself and head into battle as your knight. So do your part and stay here. Having a place to come home to makes knights stronger.
*swoons*
Poor Pashet sees her own soldiers causing havok. She knows their names, and where they were born, and why they wanted to become one of her soldiers. Can she really hurt, or even kill, her own comrades?
Oz gunmen are ready to fire, but Pashet says that if her subordinates must die, it will be at her hands ;_;
As she draws her sword, she whispers "forgive me".
There is some quite visceral and angsty violence. She tries to bring them down non-lethally but can only do so much. (Also all the ones she kills are men? Every other Boots soldier mentioned is female, I guess either the translator messed up or the writers felt bad being violent towards women) Her guilt makes her slow, and she ends up losing her sword. She's surrounded, about to be killed by her own soldiers....
Until she's rescued by...Axel!
SIGH. I MEAN HE MAKES MORE SENSE THAN FUKA BUT I COULD DREAM.
He hands her her sword and tells her to stop hesitating. One nice thing about Axel as a male LI for Pashet IF WE MUST HAVE ONE is that he seems to not really notice or care about gender, just the roles people have been assigned. She is a knight, so she should fight!
Oh wow he just told her she's more herself when she holds a sword.
And then the big confrontation with Hamelin happens...off screen, because this is that sort of game. Anyway, looks like Axel was happy to be Pashet's second. I GUESS, IF WE HAVE TO HAVE HET.
Kyrie expresses disappointment that more Boots soldiers didn't die, which on the plus side makes me grateful they didn't make HIM the love interest nnng.
Pashet is determined to pay reparations for all the damage her people did. Kyrie manipulates her into betting at the Oz casino and she "somehow" wins the money she needs. (Kyrie is obviously not as awful as he pretends to be. I just don't like him anyway)
To celebrate, Pashet throws a big party for all the famiglia high ups. She's wearing the dress again, but tells Fuka it's for the last time: whether she looks good in it or not, it's not practical for fighting in, and she needs to be a reliable leader.
Fuka: Adorable Pashet is nice, but dashing Pachet is more you :)
Pashet: Yeah. I'm fine just the way I am. And this way I can protect you. I'm worried you might be ensnared by a bad man. You deserve someone faithful, kind, gentle, overflowing with wealth...and until you find them, I'll be by your side

Pashet says that her wish as head of her territory is for her people's safety. But her personal wish is that her friend's future is bright.
Pashet: My famiglia is an army built upon respect for the law. It would be difficult to welcome someone as careless as you into the fold, so we won't always be able to walk hand-in-hand like this. But I can pray. I can do more than pray, I can promise to do everything I can to make that future a reality.
THE END
Oh my gosh. That was so much shippier than I thought it as going to be. I got tense a few times but it was FINE. Pashet can be bi! And really, you could read her as a butch lesbian who thought she had to find a man and get girly to be happy, and eventually she realises she doesn't. (with the help of Axel, who is a perfectly nice man who respects Pashet and yet shows ZERO signs of being into her, eg the perfect male end of a f/f/m love triangle)
Like, I was all set to ship Pashet/Fuka/Axel, but at this point I think there's more canon support for the pure f/f ship with Axel as a nice dude Pashet eventually learns to be friends with, and sometimes when they're alone Fuka teases her about her old crush and Pashet gets embarrassed.
I mean they definitely left a LOT of room to read everyone as straight. This game is aimed at straight girls, after all! But...also at "straight" Japanese girls who like to imagine a Takarazuka actor being their hot androgynous bff who they maybe kiss.
I'm glad I switched to Axel on my first playthrough, though, the main game is 80% Oz boy content and it felt jarring when I was trying to focus on someone else. But now I can skip through all that content it works ok. I'm assuming the other non-Oz-boy paths work the same way, just with more unambiguous romance.
There's two more CGs on the bad end but I'm not up for that right now, I want to wallow in happy catgirl feelings.
Anyway, Axel and Pashet were both AMAZING and DIRECTLY TARGETED AT MY ID, but this game isn't actually that good, so I will likely slow down a little from now on. I mean, it's not bad! It's a solid B, with a lot of professional polish and nice art. It's the CW of dating sims: tropey fun, but too much and you need a break from all the cheesy sugar and shallow writing.

He hands her her sword and tells her to stop hesitating. One nice thing about Axel as a male LI for Pashet IF WE MUST HAVE ONE is that he seems to not really notice or care about gender, just the roles people have been assigned. She is a knight, so she should fight!

And then the big confrontation with Hamelin happens...off screen, because this is that sort of game. Anyway, looks like Axel was happy to be Pashet's second. I GUESS, IF WE HAVE TO HAVE HET.
Kyrie expresses disappointment that more Boots soldiers didn't die, which on the plus side makes me grateful they didn't make HIM the love interest nnng.
Pashet is determined to pay reparations for all the damage her people did. Kyrie manipulates her into betting at the Oz casino and she "somehow" wins the money she needs. (Kyrie is obviously not as awful as he pretends to be. I just don't like him anyway)
To celebrate, Pashet throws a big party for all the famiglia high ups. She's wearing the dress again, but tells Fuka it's for the last time: whether she looks good in it or not, it's not practical for fighting in, and she needs to be a reliable leader.
Fuka: Adorable Pashet is nice, but dashing Pachet is more you :)
Pashet: Yeah. I'm fine just the way I am. And this way I can protect you. I'm worried you might be ensnared by a bad man. You deserve someone faithful, kind, gentle, overflowing with wealth...and until you find them, I'll be by your side

Pashet says that her wish as head of her territory is for her people's safety. But her personal wish is that her friend's future is bright.
Pashet: My famiglia is an army built upon respect for the law. It would be difficult to welcome someone as careless as you into the fold, so we won't always be able to walk hand-in-hand like this. Oh my gosh. That was so much shippier than I thought it as going to be. I got tense a few times but it was FINE. Pashet can be bi! And really, you could read her as a butch lesbian who thought she had to find a man and get girly to be happy, and eventually she realises she doesn't. (with the help of Axel, who is a perfectly nice man who respects Pashet and yet shows ZERO signs of being into her, eg the perfect male end of a f/f/m love triangle)
Like, I was all set to ship Pashet/Fuka/Axel, but at this point I think there's more canon support for the pure f/f ship with Axel as a nice dude Pashet eventually learns to be friends with, and sometimes when they're alone Fuka teases her about her old crush and Pashet gets embarrassed.
I mean they definitely left a LOT of room to read everyone as straight. This game is aimed at straight girls, after all! But...also at "straight" Japanese girls who like to imagine a Takarazuka actor being their hot androgynous bff who they maybe kiss.
I'm glad I switched to Axel on my first playthrough, though, the main game is 80% Oz boy content and it felt jarring when I was trying to focus on someone else. But now I can skip through all that content it works ok. I'm assuming the other non-Oz-boy paths work the same way, just with more unambiguous romance.
There's two more CGs on the bad end but I'm not up for that right now, I want to wallow in happy catgirl feelings.
Anyway, Axel and Pashet were both AMAZING and DIRECTLY TARGETED AT MY ID, but this game isn't actually that good, so I will likely slow down a little from now on. I mean, it's not bad! It's a solid B, with a lot of professional polish and nice art. It's the CW of dating sims: tropey fun, but too much and you need a break from all the cheesy sugar and shallow writing.
