A very important Hakuoki question

I've been vaguely pondering Hakuoki fic about the protagonist Chizuru as a vampire/Fury for a while, but kept getting tangled up in logistics the way I often do with AUs. It wasn't until I got this ask that it occurred to me I could draw it. Which sounds like fun!

So, who should I draw her being shippily vampirey with? Votes from people who have not played the game are entirely welcome, you can see what everyone looks like here. Also, anonymous comments are enabled for anyone not on dreamwidth to argue their case. The result isn't binding but I did only include characters I might plausibly draw.

Current art prompts take first priority to actually get drawn, but I just got over-inspired and spent WAY too long on the last one, so am taking a little art break to ask silly questions and do research eg watch Venom.

If they are both Furies - Heisuke, since their relationship dynamic is so equal. Also since it's really important to him to have friends fighting alongside him it's easy to imagine her taking the serum to help him in a battle. Which would make him sad, but he'd get it eventually I think, especially if her life were at risk.

If it's just her - Saito, since from the beginning he both respected her and worked to protect her, and because he understands that people with different kinds of bodies can still be honorable warriors. He'd feel *tremendously* guilty that she had to become a Fury to save her own life, because he should've been protecting her. But he'd get over it, like he got over his feelings of guilt in canon, and letting her drink his blood might help. Also he would stoically endure blood drinking in quite attractive ways.

Her drinking blood from Kazama would also be fascinating...he's repelled, but also attracted, and rationalizes that he's doing it just because this is the only way he can have babies with her, and tries not to admit how much he enjoys it.

Oh and Nagakura! He's out drinking and misbehaving and gets in trouble and she has to go rescue him and in the process experiences bloodlust and has to drink blood from him in an alley.

Oh and to explain I wrote Kaoru because I missed the word 'shippy' and was imagining an AU branching off from Okita's route in which they go and be Furies together...sorry about that and any unpleasant mental images.
