Well That's the Mortgage Taken Care of!

Just got the following incredibly dodgy message on Fanfiction.net
You'll note the lack of any reference to, you know. My (user)name. Any specific stories. Little things like that.
I'm not massively popular, either. I get enough nice comments to boost my ego, but I'm not someone you'd offer a publishing deal to unless you were casting a very wide net.
And sure enough they are dodgy as hell. That was just the first link I found by googling, it look like 99% of the content about them online is people saying either "Is this a scam?" or "This is a scam!". Looks like they're trying to cash in on the fact that actual publishing companies have made deals with a few popular authors on Wattpad, inspiring many other Wattpad authors to wonder if they could be the next big thing to get a lucky break.
Honestly I'm just surprised they aren't a like...malware level scam. I mean they are still a scam, jut the sort that technically does what they say they'll do. Sort of. For a while.
But I think I'll still pass.
Dear Author,
This is Elma, an editor from STARY PTE. LTD, which is based in Singapore and owns two fast-developing fiction-reading platforms: FicFun, focusing on presenting thrilling stories for male readers while Dreame, a community featuring romance stories for girls. To date, STARY ranks top two globally in selling out E-books with each platform having over one million registered users.
I am writing this hoping to invite you to publish your story on our websites. By signing it with us, you will first be rewarded with a payment for your hard work and will then have a chance to earn a share from our "Pay-to-Read" program. For books that recognized by our data analysis team, there will also be an advertising campaign in different social media platforms.
Stary offers both exclusive and non-exclusive deals, which meet the needs of different authors. You can learn more about us by visiting our website, or joining the FB Group "Online Fiction Writers & Readers Union".
If you are interested in finding out more, you can also contact me via my email address, which is elma@ficfundotcom. We can discuss more details there and a sample contract can also be sent to you for your reference. You can take your time to view the contract and think it through before making a decision. As STARY develops, I firmly believe that you can get your book to more readers out there. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon!
Best Regards,
Elma
