The list of shows I am going through
I'M DONE???!!!
I'm letting myself skip anything over 45mins, which I'll mark with a # if I haven't actually tried it.
Continuum
Time travel scifi drama. Didn't grab me. *drops*
Killjoys
Great scifi show about bounty hunters in space. We're watching this at movie night. *drops but only because Netflix is unreliable on the tv*
Janet King
Australian legal drama with a lesbian protagonist. I'm not into legal dramas, why did I add this *drops*
Jellies
Just a bunch of jellyfish floating around. For when I am feeling VERY sick and stupid. *keeps*
Accidentally in Love
Chinese college rom-com tv show about an heiress pretending to be an ordinary girl who ends up tangled up with a pop-star also trying to avoid his handlers. Fun so far! *keeps*
Ocean Wonders
A bunch of images of fish. See: Jellies. *keeps*
Blazing Transfer Students
Fast paced, surreal, and VERY SILLY Japanese comedy about a (largely wacky) group of boys who get transferred to a mysterious highschool. I have no idea what I just watched but I got to the end without really noticing the time go by (though ~sexy schoolgirls are more disquieting in live action even if the actor is probably like 25) *keeps*
Piku #
Indian movie about a father and daughter on a roadtrip. *keeps*
Mike Birbiglia: Thank God For Jokes
Stand up. Poked at the nature of comedy and censorship in ways I didn't always agree with and could hit buttons for people, but I overall enjoyed it and found it funny *finished*
Death At A Funeral (US) #
Movie. *keeps*
A Dog's Life
Fluffy documentary about dogs. I am a cat person. *drops*
Michael Che: Matters #
Stand up. *keeps*
Jab We Met
A great Indian rom-com I have seen and am unlikely to rewatch.*drops*
White Nights/Night Light
Femslashy korean drama about power and money. Seems great but I have trouble following complex plots in subtitled live action. *drops*
The Deep
3D animated kids movie. I thought it was something else! *drops*
Secrets of Chatsworth
A rather dull documentary about a fancy English house I was using as research. *drops*
David Blaine: Street Magic
90s magic special. Fine but didn't grab me. *drops*
AND THAT'S 95. PHEW.
So!
Things I finished and enjoyed:
Stuff I tried and will keep watching:
Movies etc I did not try yet:
And yeah, I gotta sit down and make myself watch some of these longer things too! But that'll be a long term project, so they'll show up in my regular review posts.
