I stopped actually posting years ago, and have just keep my LJ to read and comment.

Not sure how much I'll continue doing that, however. I suspect a lot of it will depend on what the folks I go there to read do.

Currently, that is *not* looking good for LJ.

I mean, I can hope that DW gets a kind of second wind from this, but if fandom was gonna flood to DW it would have happened by now. Still, new users is always good. Especially since a well-respected book reviewer of note is reportedly among them.

Yeah, I think the odds of any significant long term increase is low, but a few extra people is still nice :)

I've migrated all my old posts over to DW, but all the image links still point to the LJ Scrapbook. For the time being I'll keep my LJ account active so I don't lose those hundreds of image links in posts. Googling about to retrieve them is a nightmare of shell scripting I'm not game to attempt.

Ooh, ouch. Luckily I never really used the scrapbook so that's less of an issue for me.
