So, you all care about me and want to help my creative spirit soar, right? Yes? Then can you please check out the new version of my homepage and tell me if it doesn't work in your browser. The problem with running safari on a mac at 640x480 is your viewing experience often doesn't match other people's...Any other comments also welcome, but mainly I want to make sure it isn't borken before I swap other pages over to the new css.

Note that I am still sick, so part of me is a worried the pretty page I see on my screen is just some delerium fuelled hallucination. Still, working on this (also making an index for my thesis and doing the easy corrections like Storjohan -> Storjohann) has kept me from getting too active, I'm at that point at the cold where I feel much less crap than I did yesterday so by comparison I feel super energetic, but in reality I'm still fatigued, just not as much. It is bitter experience that has taught me to bind myself to some stationary activity during this period or I just make myself Very Sick Indeed. And I have an interview on Tuesday! Where I have to give a presentation!! With my VOICE!!

*thinks*

Hmm, that's probably it for now.

Looks pretty on win32 firefox at 1600x1200.
You should be warned that a) things look prettier at 1600x1200 and b) things look prettier in Sweden. It's a well documented fact that I just made up. Then lied about the documentation. Sorry about that.

Is "Yes, I have several, doesn't everyone?" begin deliberately underlined when the mouse goes over it? Or the headings for that matter?

The headings are being underlined as if they are links because Sophie has link anchors next to them so they can be linked to directly, and some browsers don't distinguish between links and link anchors.

The sentence under the first header is also being treated like a link because Sophie is using teh malformed HTML. A link anchor, like a link, needs to be closed off with a </a> tag; Sophie is not doing this, so the browser assumes that anchor runs all the way down to the next such tag (the one at the end of the next link). This can be fixed by putting in </a> tags immediately after each <a name> element (which incidentally will also stop the headings being underlined).

There are several other things wrong with the HTML - for instance, the style sheet links should be *before* the </head> tag - but I have to admit that it looks very nice.

Looks fine under Konqueror too, though I think the different horizontal alignments of the three horizontal lines will take a little getting use to.

PS: The traffic wave stuff you linked to is cool. I don't regret losing that half hour. :)

PPS: elsewhere, you mispelt 'nutritious', though for now I shall (possibly naïvely) assume that 'spontataneously' was intentional :P
