The magical healing properties of cake

alias_sqbrI made a Green's "Caramel Mudcake" yesterday and good god is it delicious. I forgot how much I love cake. And almost entirely dairy free, so all I have to worry about is the sugar and fat. Of which there is a lot...But right now I feel fantastic.
I've also been trying out HabitRPG after a critical mass of people mentioned it as helpful. And it has indeed been helpful! As they say, unlike similar "levelling up via your to do list" sites they actually offer incentives (you can set your own rewards and also dress up your avatar etc) It's early days but if nothing else it got me drawing more since I can get over perfectionist art block by saying "It doesn't need to be good! I just want to tick the box!"
Finished watching the cracky, silly tv show "The Spoils of Bablyon" on the ABC. It's a satirical, over the top pastiche of 80s Epic Miniseries, following the rise and fall of a pseudo incestuous step brother and sister from the 1930s-1980s. Haley Joel Osmont does a surprising but effective job as the villain. Isn't quite incisive enough to make up for all the hipster racism/fridging etc but does manage to be entertaining while stuffing in as many tropes as possible.
Also: Lily came over, and many kind people came and TOOK MOST OF OUR FURNITURE YAY, all of which made us happy and the cat annoyed.
