On torachan's rec I watched the first episode of Wandering Son (aka Hourou Musuko) and it is a lovely little anime about a bunch of trans (and not trans) children in middle school. Shuichi Nitorim was a little sad at the end so I thought I'd draw her happy and getting to wear girls' clothes, plus I wanted to try emulating the soft watercolour-esque style (since if they can animate it it can't be too complex to do. In theory)

Thanks! Though I was mostly just copying the anime, they overdo the effects a little sometimes but it is quite pretty. Here's the trailer (which is in Japanese but is less commitment than an episode :))
