Drawing Life, Jar of Octopus (original art)

tedprior and tiny_monster started up drawing_life, where they post and draw an interesting looking picture every day and encourage other people (so afar, afaict, only me :D) to draw it to. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for, and came just as a conversation with pippin inspired me to install the tablet on the laptop making it easier to do quick digital sketches while checking my email etc.

Most of the pictures I've done have been pretty crap (but good practice!), but I thought this one turned out ok:

i really like this! pickled octopus, om nom nom. it reminds me of those little animations that are sort of squiggly line drawings that move around. does that even make any sense?

Actually it's a scientific specimen, so not so yummy :D
