So I make this cracky ot3 comic and then I get suddenly inspired to write the backstory...

Title: Urthemiel (Actual title redacted for spoilers)
Description: Several shortish scenes exploring the relationships and unexpected complications for Zevran, Dane Amell, and Morrigan bringing up the baby Urthemiel. Set after Origins. Mostly fairly light and humourous but I poke at some of the darker aspects of the situation here and there.
Other: Zevran/m!Amell/Morrigan, PG, 5677 words

Still a bit rough around the edges but I need to post it and tell my muse I am DONE so I can STOP. A six thousandish word story in two days! Which has like..kissing and innuendo and stuff in it!

I realised the reason it came so quickly is it's basically the backstory I came up with like a year ago for a fantasy story I never got around to writing, plus bits of a "what happened next" to my Brosca Dragon Age origin I'd vaguely pondered (and then gave up on when I realised how angsty it would have to be). And on further thought my Brosca character was basically the main character of that original fantasy, which explains why she was so strong in my head.

I think the reason my speculative fiction never gets finished is I don't have the creative energy for plotting AND worldbuilding. Thus when I find a fantasy setting I feel inspired by all my unused fantasy story ideas come bubbling to the surface and you get this constant stream of fanworks. Of course noone's going to read this one since it requires the reader to like Morrigan AND slash AND babies AND theological meta, but it was lots of fun to write :)

Should I read this before or after I've played the game?

I've been enjoying your fanworks for Dragon Age so far but in a 'I don't get what's happening here' kinda way - the jokes feel less funny than usual which makes me think that it's just that I'm not familiar with the source material.
