So today it is my birthday. I have had the odd moment of "OMG I'm thirty" but overall am ok with being so Very Old.

To celebrate, a poll:

EDIT: Yes, you will have to round up/down. But this way I get a mean and standard deviation!

[Poll #1489109]

And now to have a lie down, because the last few days have been fun but tiring.

I'm 21 and a bit. 21 and a bit is not an option. Would have liked an "other" field :)

I rounded up to 25. I am not actually 25.

Man now I feel ancient. :(

:D

I want to stay 23 till I turn magically into an old crotchety 50yearold lady with a shotgun, a front porch and knitting. Can't wait till those times.

Also Happy Birthday, I forgot to say it in the earlier post.

Haha. It could be argued that I'm quite practiced at it really. :P

I am currently making an effort to be less angry and grumpy at people atm though, which has so far meant I've spent most of my time alone reading Mercedes Lackey (it's cheering!) to avoid starting fights on the internet. :P

Rounded down to thirty-five. Because one should not get to claim forty until one has earned forty. :-)

Many happy returns, whippersnapper!

Similar. Though rounding my age to the nearest 5 does indeed go to 35. For at least another 6 months.

Funnily enough, I got the same. ;)

I do wonder whether there would have been more of a bell curve if the options had been 5N+4

(I've not earned forty yet, but rounded up anyway)

Hmm. True that.

But you're already bucketing the data; I just meant alternative wording (current poll's the equivalent of 0-12,13-17,18-22 etc).

Moot point though; it doesn't look like that many of us 38-39yos have been rounding down :)

Hmm. If I round my age to the nearest 5 years, then I have to pick "30" - but my real age is "Nope, you old fogey" for another 11 months.

Eh, what the heck. It wouldn't be the first time I did something that looked self-contradictory.

I think actual chronological age is largely irrelevant :P

Happy Birthday!!

Happy birthday S!

Probably won't be able to make your shindig, alas. Will most likely be dead from graveyard shifts (which is oddly appropriate).

Much love anyway. :)

Hehe, I get the feeling I'm the youngest person in the quiz (19). Figured I'd round up. Also, the lack of a histogram annoys me (bar graphs just aren't the same).

Happy Birthday! I rounded up to 35 so you'd feel young!

I kind of rounded down because apparently 30 is Important or something so 27 probably doesn't count.

I think I feel more 30 than 25, but really I guess I just feel 27.

I am not good with age. I don't quite get it. >_>;

Ahahaha, I do the same thing. I always hope I don't look too weird going, "Hang on, um... *mental arithmetic*" to people. ^_^;

Really, after 25, there just wasn't much reason to keep track.
