Since I was tagged by

infamyanonymous and it sounds like fun. I'm not tagging anyone else though, if only so as I can take as long as I like :) I wrote it quickly anyway, see 8.

1. I like cottage cheese. I used to beg my mum to buy me it the way other children would beg for chocolate (though I did that too) When I got austudy at 15ish I realised I could eat all the cottage cheese I liked so I did. Now I don't like it quite as much :)
2. I have this obsessive need for validation about random things, even though on the whole I'm not that insecure, I just don't trust my own judgement.
3. This is because my judgement often sucks. (Not always, but at random it's just utterly wrong)
4. I'm a really big hypercondriac.
5. About 6 months ago I decided to be more honest with people when I was annoyed with them, and am happily surprised that this hasn't resulted in many arguments. Maybe I'm not trying hard enough.
6. I am pretty much incapable of talking about things that make me sad without crying, even though I'm not actually that emotional a person.
7. I got a lavender bush for $1.99 the other day.
8. Whoa, only up to 8? I need more silliness and less thought, I do have a Phd to work on you know.
9. which is due in like a MONTH!
10. But is coming along quite well. I think. See 3 and 2.
11. I occasionally feel like strangling my supervisor, since her feedback seems to be based more on her mood than the quality of my writing. At least she's mainly in a good mood...
12. As I told Cam this morning, I'm thinking of getting pierced ears and contacts.
13. He responded by asking if I was going to dye my hair blonde and start wearing hipster jeans and hanging at the mall.
14. My answer being no.
15. The main reason for getting pierced ears is so I can make and wear my own earrings :)
16. The reason for contacts is I recently realised that my glasses make my eyes look like they're different sizes (since the prescriptions differ) and if I wear ANY eye-makeup (beyond eyeliner) they look super wonky and crap.
17. I used to be terrified of heights until I dumped my ex-boyfriend, and now I'm not.
19. As a kid I found I could sometimes experience a weird mental state and the taste of white crustless bread if I lay on my back with one arm up in the air.
20. I was a seriously weird kid. No, really.

Wasn't that exciting?
