Supanova

Went to Supanova today, it was actually pretty fun and I'd say we got our money's worth. Mostly stalls selling various geeky things, got some VERY cheap graphic novels from King Comics. Also had a good time at the actor Q&As, Jewel Staite is great and it's cool to have seen Nichelle Nicholls (although she wasn't as entertaining) Cam liked Kandyse McClure. Bumped into a few people (including a middle aged woman from weight watchers I would not have pegged as a StarGate fangirl), admired the costumes.

So, I reccomend it it to anyone who has $20 and a bit of time to spare tomorrow, details here. The food is terrible though (long lines for overpriced crappy hamburgers etc), bring your own.

Also, wasn't sick! Which is no guarantee I won't be sick tomorrow, but still!

How cheap was Kings Comics? I ended up spending about $90 on an assortment of graphic novels.

I know! And it's only $3.50 for shipping until the end of july so we're definitely going to order some more.
