And now, the secret route and audio dramas! I didn't know this game even HAD audio dramas, how exciting!
Content notes: Creepy stalkery wizard is creepy and stalkery
So! Here's what I see if I click the Wizard in the "bonus" section:

*clicks "Behind the story*"
Wizard: Can you see me? That means you have a desperate wish.
He explains (to...me, personally? It's not clear D:) that he grants wishes in exchange for memories, and that he uses the memories to create the magical power required. He needs to do so to live.
"I only take those related to your wish. So you won't remember how earnestly you wished for it to be true. And I take your memories of me."
"How long must I continue doing this?"
We see the wizard grant a man's wish to save his mother. "My strength has weakened since I took a break for a while. Since I've just gained some power shall we visit the heroine?"
We see Heejung's mother hassling her for only getting second place. Heejung quietly says she wants to go to university in Busan but her mother barely registers it.
"It's been seven years since I started observing the human world. And can't take my eyes off her. I wasn't interested at first, but four years ago her family fell apart."
Since she was 14? D:
He finds her doomed attempts to make her mother happy entertaining. "She still loves her mother...but is it love? She will never have an earnest wish while she lives with her mother. Her mother is a robber of hope. The opposite of me, who grants wishes."
"And I thought, if Heroine, who even loves her mother, who takes her dreams away...sees me, who grants wishes..."
He watches Heejung leave her mother, and wonders if she will ever have an earnest wish that lets him meet her. He wants to see her wanting something, and experiencing emotions. But Heejung still lives as her mother told her to, her love unwavering. "If I work hard...someday she'll acknowledge me".
He watches her, wanting her, wanting to destroy her. And nothing changes.
So he made the game, finding broken hearted animals with desperate wishes on the Grim Continent.
We see the Wizard approach Jisoo, "the Black Cat", who agrees to the game before even finding out what it is beyond a way to save Lily.
Jisoo: But if I lose, Lily will be left alone...she might die! Maybe it's not a good idea...
Wizard: Fine. I will change the rules so that if you join the game, your sister will not get any sicker, even if you lose. And if you win, she will be entirely cured, and you will return to her.
Fixing Lily without any memories to power it was a little tough but necessary. And of course the Wizard didn't tell Jisoo that Lily could be fixed just by losing his memories and not playing the game...
Jihae, "the Knight", initially refused because he couldn't leave without the permission of his master. When he found out that Jieun, "the Prince", had joined the game as well he was angry, but then the Wizard changed the rules so that if one of them wins, they both return to their kingdom. Although Jieun seemed to be happy with the idea of staying in the human world anyway...
Jiwoo, "The Kanos Rabbit" was more interested in losing the game, to have a chance at a new life. THAT EXPLAINS SOME THINGS.
Jiyeon, "The Stray Cat", is not remotely cute as he tells the wizard he better not be trying any bullshit. Like Jiwoo and Jieun he seemed pretty happy just with the thought of getting a new start.
They stayed in animal form until she started to favour one of them.
The rules:
Never tell anyone about the game.
Missed this one but probably don't interfere with each other?
Make the heroine naturally fall in love.
Don't tell her about the disappearance. That way she will be more confused and desperate.
Setting everything up took so much energy the Wizard thought he might die. But he had promised himself he'd meet the heroine, and make her miserable for making him wait so long.
YEAH HOW DARE SHE BE INCONVENIENTLY TRAUMATISED
"I'm impatient to see the expressions you make. Well then, shall the game begin?"
The game progressed, with it's winner and losers. The wizard gained some power from the losers memories but still ended up very weak.
"Heroine, you continued to meet me, except when you chose The Prince" Implying these are paralell universes? Or something?
"But I couldn't hold onto you for a long time. Seeing you in love with someone else made me want to take away those memories." He eventually always sent her back. And he regretted it.
Ah! So he reset time and watched her fall in love with each guy in turn, over and over. Every time he got weaker. And he realised how his clients felt. This is what it feels like to have a desperate wish.
So he resets her to her original self, and goes there himself. If they meet in the same world...there might be a chance she'd fall in love with him. If he pays the price with his own memories...can his final wish come true?
Wizard: What happened...
Heejung: Where am I? And...who are you?

THE END
WELL. I'LL SAY ONE THING. JISOO IS NOT LOOKING LIKE A BAD CATCH RIGHT NOW.
But that was interestingly creepy!
Knowing that Jihae and Jisoo were the only ones seriously motivated to win Heejung's affections makes a lot of sense.
OH HEY and the little CD symbol leads to 4 drama tracks with English translations! The equivalents for Nameless all cost like $20 each, so, no complaints here.

Track 1:
Ahahaha. So Jiyeon, Jisoo and Jiwoo find a dating sim on Heejung's computer called Dandetiger which seems to be both sillier and pornier than Dandelion. They are all offended at their own depictions but amused at poking at each other's characters.
"A sexy comedy love fantasy tale of living with five strong and charming beasts created for lonely women. Recommended if you answer 'yes' to any of the following questions:
Do you have a pet?
Have you ever talked to your pet?
Have you ever wished your pet is human?"
...apparently the Jihae and Jieun characters make Jiwoo wonder if the genre is "normal or BL".
Track 2:
Jieun and Jihae discover the game. From context I think Jihae was playing Jieun's route while acting shocked at how innappropriatte it all was. They speculate on who could have made the game: it has to be someone who knows them all. Could it be Heejung herself??
Track 3:
Jisoo and Jiyeon stumble across Jieun and Jihae playing the game. Jisoo is horrified that his dignity has been so damaged, and everyone else points out he never had any. He angrily breaks the laptop and Jiyeon persuades him this is a very big deal. But there's a way to avoid Heejung being angry at him...
Track 4:
Jiwoo wakes up on top of the laptop and thinks he broke it. The others are waiting on the balcony to make sure the plan works. Jieun and Jihae snuggle together for warmth and Jisoo is very uncomfortable. (But I assume that five seconds later he snuggles Jiyeon for warmth himself)
THE END
...yeah I'm glad I didn't pay money for those. Especially since I am incapable of reading along with the Korean voices without skipping ahead, and then the voice become meaningless.
And now I'm done!
Overall, that was an enjoyable and interesting game, but a lot of my enjoyment was as a game dev seeing the inventive ideas they experimented with, even when the experiments didn't work.
I definitely want to play Cheritz's next game, Mystic Messenger, now. But I will have to borrow someone's phone/tablet, since mine crashes in a strong breeze. Especially since I ran over it with my wheelchair >.>
Oh hey, I didn't do the bad endings. I'm not sure I want to, they sound like a lot of trouble. I might try seeing what happens if I just spend every day sleeping, though, haha.
