The Good Place Prediction

alias_sqbrA fairly obvious and possibly over-thinking reaction to a detail in the most recent episode (Season 3, episode 9, "Janets") but I haven't seen anyone else mention it.
** SPOILERS **
There was a trolley with bags of souls in it. Assuming souls have been entering the good place at a slow speed for a long time/forever, that's hundreds of thousands of years of souls just sitting abandoned. That bag capacity could be large enough for them to be all the souls that have entered the Good Place ever.
And the general vibe was of a nice office for someone a little eccentric who hasn't been present for a while. Someone made the system and then wandered away, bored or something.
