Written in reaction to episode 7, but if things continue as they have been you can just imagine I referred to whatever new heights of TOTALLY NORMAL COACH BEHAVIOUR happen next.

A conversation I had this morning on Skype with my friend Alice who can't stream tv right now:
Alice: are you caught up with yuri on ice
Sophie: I am!
Alice: did they actually kiss
Sophie: hahaha no
Sophie: not even close
Sophie: they did hold hands for a second
Sophie: and there was a significant look
Sophie: but it was skating related
Sophie: if they had kissed tumblr would have collapsed under the weight of gifs
Alice: FFA is collapsing under the kiss
Alice: so ?????
Sophie: OH WAIT
Sophie: I AM NOT CAUGHT UP
Sophie: THERE WAS A NEW EPISODE WHILE I WAS ASLEEP
Sophie: THEY KISSSSSSEDDD???????????!!!!!!
Sophie: BRB WATCHING YURI ON ICE
Sophie: (internet do not fail me now)
*half an hour later*
Sophie: yep that sure was a kiss
Sophie: Again for skating related reasons
Sophie: really really flimsy
Sophie: skating related reasons
Sophie: “It was the only thing I could think of to surprise you as much as you surprised me with your skating”
Alice: they kissed.
Sophie: …suddenly starts pondering fic where the “it’s for skating” excuses get thinner and thinner until someone’s like “YOU CAN JUST ADMIT YOU LIKE EACH OTHER” and they’re both scandalised. It was for SKATING
Sophie: WAIT NO it turns out everyone just assumed they were dating and they’re both what no this is just a professional relationship
Sophie: totally professional kissing
Sophie: for professional skating related reasons
Alice: hahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
