The whole cast was a bit much, but I thought about who would be the most
interesting from Bablyon 5 (since I haven't seen muhc Blake's 7) and
settled on Londo.
If you're still doing it ... Philadelphia Darcy? idk if you remember the rambling post about the current f!Darcy fic Under Construction, but the main deal is that she has no connection to the Bingleys and therefore Elizabeth doesn't meet her until Rosings, though she's heard some nasty remarks from Wickham. Apart from the AU-of-the-AU with f!Fitzwilliam, the only bit I've posted is about 2/3 down this page.
It
occured to me after drawing this that the diamonds might be a choking
hazard, but I shall assume dragon digestive systems are pretty hardy what
with the fire breathing and all.
Not too late at all! I thought it might be fun to go for a paint-over/manip
version of The Portrait. Can you tell me the name of that woman so I can
dig up some more refs? Working off that face angle here's some images I
found to use as a base (because I am no 18th century portrait artist ;)),
but I can use something else, or try for a combination. Or do my usual
style if you'd prefer!
Ooooh, I wouldn't have thought of that, but it sounds awesome! Her name is Vicky Papadopoulou (she's older now, but the full shot is here, and she's also here and here and here and here.
Oh, I do like the picture of Lady Derby. Also, if you ever do need late eighteenth/early nineteenth refs in general, I have a pile saved here.
Kittens and robots are also more than okay in the singular (though I'm happy to headcanon the cat toy as a robot)! This is ridiculously cute and I love it.
I DON'T FIND IT DIFFICULT TO DECIDE AT ALL. Wow, she's gorgeous! And in a completely different way than I expected; I knew she'd be different from your usual style, but I wasn't expecting something so ... painterly? Thank you so much, I love her!
Hooray, I'm glad you like her! I don't do much painting in part because I
always end up second guessing myself, but it's fun every now and then as a
change.
