So the three main canons I've gotten REALLY INTO in the last few years are Dragon Age, Avatar TLA/TLoK, and Homestuck. All three have large and enthusiasticly argumentative fandoms.

Today: The final book of Avatar: the Legend of Korra starts.

Some time in the next month or two: Homestuck resumes updates after a year long hiatus, heading towards it's end.

November 18: Dragon Age: Inquisition comes out.

Late november/early December: Final episode of Avatar: the Legend of Korra airs.

THIS IS GOING TO BE INTENSE

Ooooo, hopefully intense in a really awesome way! (Though I've heard a lot of mixed things about the Homestuck fandom - but I'm sure you know some really awesome pockets in each). I need to catch up on LoK - I nixed out due to the tolerance and amusement around the 'it's okay to emotionally abuse Bolin cuz it's *funny*' storyline back in ahhh, season 2, but I've heard it's improved a lot overall (by the standards of the show) and Avatar TLA has always been so high on my 'I love this show SO MUCH' list. Heh. So I'm gonna give LoK another try.

But yay, convergence of awesome things!

I don't follow Homestuck, but the other two... yeah. Fingers crossed for the good kind of intensity? S3 of Korra seems to have been well-received, at least.

I'm hoping for awesome too! Yeah my little compadre of Homestuck fan friends is ok.

Book 3 was soooo much better than Book 2, and I much preferred Bolin's storyline. He seems to have gotten into a messy situation in book 4 though, albeit a much less cartoonish one.

...Well, when you put it that way. I didn't even think about that.

I've mainly been trying to distract myself from the maelstrom that's sure to erupt as Inquisition draws near. And spoiling myself silly, since there's no chance of me playing the game in the first blush of activity.

And I have to admit I totally forgot about Homestuck. I hadn't even checked when the gigapause was supposed to end.

I am going to get Inquisition the moment it comes out...and then have to play it around Cam, who uses the Windows machine to work from home /o\ At least he's less of a Dragon Age fan than me, so doesn't mind playing second.

For this one game, yes. Things were less convenient with Mass Effect 3 :)
