What pairing/genre/fandom did you create that you would never have predicted in January?
Pairing: Fenris/Sebastian, I guess, though I've always thought it had potential. Fandom: Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came :)

What's your own favorite work of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?
Time travel game!

Did you take any creative risks this year? What did you learn from them?
I made an original time travel game! (Yes I started that last year shush) Learnt a little about plotting. I did an art meme which pushed the boundaries of my art a bit which was good. Did a commission which taught me that I can do comissions!

Do you have any creative goals for the New Year?
GET COPPER ROSE DEMO FINISHED. Write more.

My best works of this year:
Best writing: Toss up between "The Life and Death of Setsuka Heel" and "An Unlikely Adventure"? Both are competent, I'm not MASSIVELY proud of anything I wrote this year. Best art: Astronomy or my picture of tree or Educational reading. They're different styles so it's hard to compare!

My most popular work of this year:
On AO3: "With Great Power" (Kudos: 65 Bookmarks: 13 Hits: 959) or "Love is in the Air" (Kudos:58 Bookmarks:5 Hits:1099) depending on how you count it.

Work of mine most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion:
Still Queen. What I get for drawing original art :/

Most fun story to write/art to draw:
Write: Maybe "Love is in the Air", Night Vale is a fun universe. Draw: Astronomy? Limited palettes are like a puzzle and it came out pretty well.

Story with the single sexiest moment:
Probably "The Life and Death of Setsuka Heel", with all the psuodo-incestuous double layers of meaning and UST. I don't think any of my stories from this year have actual sex in them, not even fade to black.

Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:
"The Life and Death of Setsuka Heel", I had to do a lot of rereading of canon and serious thinking to figure out Ren's motivations and plausible actions. And not everyone agreed I'd kept him in character!

Hardest to create:
Time travel game, frigging timelines.

Biggest Disappointment:
"Exploring the virtues of squishiness", it looked much cooler in my head :(

Biggest Surprise:
Being inspired to write an Epic Ren/Kyoko Romance so long after getting irritated with the manga, I didn't think I had any Skip Beat! fannishness left in me.

Most Unintentionally Telling Work:
Man, idk. As a trend there were less sexy robots and more sexy corpses.

In conclusion:
I need to write more. I drew more original art, hurrah. Dragon Age is still queen of fandoms. I have some weird ideas about what counts as sexy.
